Ok, but he does say “I want to do Exodia.” at 22:57 of his video. The Harry Potter spell bit is from viewers in someone’s stream after it goes off. Plus, the line being referenced is “Exodia, obliterate!”
Sounds like Bombarda, the spell was used to make explosions just like here (Or Bombardo? Not sure, long time since I last watched or read Harry Potter)
If you think about it, _Obliviate_ would also work well. Can't exactly defend yourself if all your knowledge of magic is just _gone,_ after all... and as it's non-lethal, probably wouldn't trigger the Killing Curse Defense... Lord Moldybutt could then take his sweet time setting up an elaborate trap around an amnesiac Potter and set it to go off once he's well out of the blast radius.
@@IKSx09 There’s most likely more, but the last clip I vividly remember was him mining a diamond block which triggered an observer block and blew up a statue. Then the screen pans over to both Keralis (with that exact expression) and another player watching it getting destroyed.
@@sonny1524 I'm kind of referencing two things with this comment, the first being the Biblical creation, the second is the destruction of the Temple in 70 AD when jews supposedly saw angels above the temple saying 'let us remove this temple hence' 🤓
Grians yugioh reference yelling obliterate after saying he wanted to “Exodia” XB made me smile, also the slowing clock gears reminded me of Za warudo. (I remember Grian using a king crimson skip time effect In one of his videos so it’s not that far off to say that might be some sort of a reference as well)
Yep. In the anime, whenever Exodia the forbidden one is used the character would yell "Exodia Obliterate". In case you or anyone else doesn't know, Exodia has the effect of when you have all 5 pieces of Exodia in your hand you instantly win the duel. In the anime and in all online games when this effect is triggered Exodia will appear and cause an explosion from his hands. That's the bomb Grian is referencing.
Obliterate is a volatile spell harnessing cataclysmic power. Upon invocation, the caster becomes a conduit for annihilation, detonating with the fury of an atomic blast. Its deadly shockwave obliterates all within its radius, leaving naught but desolation in its wake. A forbidden incantation, its use portends utter devastation, consuming both wielder and adversaries in a blazing inferno of destruction.
