Or at least that's the way it seems. Like there was a long term game plan in the works, and it all came together when trump decided to run for president. Your appeal-to-the-moderates strategy put Trump in the White House. It lost over 1,000 legislative and gubernatorial seats across the country during the Obama administration. We've tried it your way over and over again, aren't you tired of losing to the extreme right? Your way is an obsolete strategy that hasn't worked since the '90s. Trump got about 60 million votes in 2016, Clinton got about 63 million. But the biggest voting bloc in the country are the roughly 100 million eligible voters who stayed home on election day. There are more millennials than baby boomers. The Dems need to stop trying to pick off moderates and disillusioned conservatives and start aiming their strategy at the 100 million who have given up. To do that, you need an authentic, honest candidate with bold policies that speak to the widespread economic populist rage that the electorate has been expressing very clearly in the last 3 elections in a row but we've been ignored.

The US used to keep fascism down in Europe and a few other countries. Sadly, we did not have the same policies in other parts of the world, namely Latin America and the Mideast. In the height is the cold war with the USSR and Castro's Cuba the US took the easy way out by backing fascist dictators in Latin America and monarchs/tyrants in the Mideast. I never agreed with my country's policies in those places. While on the surface it kept communism out but what was put in place was worse in many cases. It was a short sighted policy and in many ways is coming back to haunt us.

When I struggled through a devastating divorce I sought comfort from preachers on TBN. The Bennie Hinns, the Paula Whites. After I recovered a certain degree of sanity I began to understand why some of my associates had scoffed at my gullibility during my struggle.
