Because of this unbelievable musician I investigated Rameau and his operas . I wish he could help make sense out of Couperin for me . I picked up a recording of his playing the Hammerklavier when I was in highschool in the 1980's before he was as famous as he is now . Where is his son the pianist I saw at the Van Cliburn over a decade ago ?
