I don't like catfish much but my husband loves it and thankfully he is farm raised and has excellent cooking and baking skills and cooks it. Since I have been in cancer treatment he has stepped in with all the things I struggle with. His parents and the elderly ladies in the neighborhood taught him to be self sufficient. In the South US most African American male's and female's are taught to be self sufficient and my brothers can do everything my sister's and I can do, cook, clean, iron, sew and bake.
I’ve had pet catfish in my aquariums. My mom also had bullhead catfish in the horse troughs so they kept the water clean and disease free. They are some of my favorite fish. Good eating too! Greetings from Minnesota!
