Do I have a grill? No. Do I for an unknown reason love and find super interesting learning about grilling? Yes. Please don't stop the grilling videos!!! Too good
Heat. And. Time. Once again teaching us an important lesson about life, not just food. Thank you for sharing your goodness and not just filling our tummies but nurturing our souls. 😘😘😘
I'm a dark meat guy all the way. But I will occasionally grill up several breasts for easy and multiple week night meals. I've had pretty good luck keeping them from drying out on the grill. I usually split them in half, pound them out to be fairly even thickness (not too thin), then grill them high and fast. I brush them with olive oil and lemon juice as soon as I take them off the heat and let them rest for a bit. Seems to work like a charm for me. They make for great tacos and open-faced sandwiches throughout the week.
I look forward to watching all of your content! My fiance, who hates "food tv" demands delicious dinners and after watching me watch you and make your recipes, which he enjoys more than he'll ever let me know, he now has started watching with me. I now have requests for recipes to be made for him, he's buying your book for me, and he even helped me with the last recipe (beans and tofu)!!!!! Thank you for all you do!♡
After watching this, I went straight to your cookbook and made it (the chicken, since I've been unable to find long beans). It is really AMAZING, and we've had grilled chicken 2x and air fried 1x. I love that spice rub, Thanks!!
Im 95 percent sure some of the flowers growing on the fence fell into the bowl with basil and got tossed into the beans.(im not nitpicking, this is just how my brain is)
That Egg grill used to be sold as a Japanese Hibachi pot, my late father had one in the 70's. He had 2 of them, replacing the first one that he bought around 1970-71, then later in the decade, he bought another one to replace the first one. Brings back memories. Then in the mid 80's he went gas and then grilled much of the year, even if it's wet and cold, as it often is in Western Washington during the fall through early spring months. BTW, this meal looks yummy.
Is it bad that she said “Anise is black licorice flavor, so you can substitute” and my brain automatically went “black licorice jelly beans”? I promise I know better than that!
Do you grill with the lid open the whole time or did you just not show cooking with the lid closed? I thought the saying about cooking with the lid open was, "if you're looking, you ain't cooking".
Did your kids always grow up with heat? If not, when did they start enjoying it? I cannot wait until my 4yo is able to handle these yummy, smoky flavors. Bland food these days = bland life.
