That dentist was waaaaaaaay out of his jurisdiction! Also, Dulce’s description of how they form the mold for grillz is exactly, to the letter, how a dentist makes a mold for crowns, like what you get after a root canal. Also, you two show how tight your friendship is in every episode. Love to see the love!❤️

Gold and silver inlays are popular among the Latino community. It’s kind of a status symbol. My boyfriend is from Guatemala. His mother is from a small village and still lives there… she just got a gold tooth! lol

Chains I can understand. Grills... I can't... I mean, it sounds like too many problems, to eat, to talk, to drink, to wet your lips or kiss or even smile. It's braces you chose to use as decoration and it's an exercise in torture 😑

Gonna go with Josh on this one, but not for any reason he's going to like 😅 Chain has my vote because I could actually wear one. My skin is about a shade darker than printer paper, so putting in a grill would make me level up in Clueless White Liberal fast enough to make your head spin, and I'm trying to keep that situation under control.

I have to go with Josh on this one. I have never been a fan of grills. First issue is the hygiene of it. I've heard they can damage your teeth. If it's cheap metal you could have whatever base metal in your mouth and that is not healthy or safe. Is this person going to have bad breath? Rotting teeth? But then I have a personal issue with the look of it. Like what are you trying to hide? Do you have messed up janky teeth? I'd rather see a healthy set of teeth any day over a mouth full of metal, even if you have impeccable hygiene I want to see natural teeth. As far as chains go, they can also create an optical illusion- long necklaces create a long line and make the wearer look slimmer and more put together.

Skinny white woman here, I go with a modest snake link silver waist chain and never straightened my teeth so my smile is the same as my Granny's. I like a pocket watch with a chain, for me to wear or to catch my stare. Classic to zoot suit to steam punk, I love a pocket watch and chain.

Dulce literally sounded like she had a retainer in the whole time 😂 so, yeah…Chains win, hands down. Grillz are gross lol Also, someone saying they are concerned about your weight isn’t the same as someone calling you fat. Dentists would be concerned because of medications, anything they give you could have a bad reaction, etc. If they can prescribe you percocets, they are allowed to be concerned of your OVERALL HEALTH. And weight directly effects that. No reason to get defensive. I get those comments too. Except I tell them what I’m doing or trying, where I’m at with it, and listen to his suggestions. Mostly I don’t take them, that’s my choice…but I’m not gonna be rude about it. Sheesh.

I would never date a dude that wears chains because at this point in my life I think that’s super lame I’m not trying to date a drug dealer or a wannabe. And every black dude around here that I see with grills looks like their breath stinks! I know they have a hot breath. I would not wanna wake up to that.

Jewelry is adornment/a type of decoration. Art/decoration isn't something we need to survive, it is something to appreciate. Most nomadic tribes have very little art/decoration in their lives, because they spend all of their time hunting and gathering/subsisting. All civilizations have art, because being seated in one place gives them leisure time to create it.
