grims new Axe and Adze cards are designed to be stand alone pocket tools, knives, or be lashed onto a branch and used as a hand tool. these new tools are 1/8" thick so they're thin enough to stash just about anywhere but also thick enough to take a beating and keep on going.

So this is like the gen 2 axe head? It looks similar to the adze.

Yes, it is. The axe and Adze are very similar with just different blade profiles.

Would it be counter productive to grind the other side of the axe head for a more inline edge?

@@MokuNui808 no, we do the chisel grind for exactly that reason, so it makes it easier for certain tasks like shaping wood, but you could absolutely sharpen both sides.
