The simplicity (not meant as disrespect) explains the reliability when compared to other high end launchers like the Byrna. I doubt we will ever see the day that Byrna posts a video on how to strip down their device. I've been a little on the fence about the twist to pierce system over the trigger pull system, but seeing the company post a video like this, and seeing the straight forward approach to the design and disassembly/assembly has probably done more to make me commit to the Gavle than anything short of it's power. Thanks. The CO2 and magazine feed tube are so simple that they do not fail. It was also easier to manufacturer correctly, as a very small company starting out.
I'm NOT mechanically inclined, but at least it seems possible with some practice and the right set of tools. It should be fun. Haven't fired a weapon in 60 years. Lots to learn.
35 joules in such a tiny launcher is amazing! And it looks made to last too, great job Kurt! Any plans to add the coin slot to the cap and fix the coil of the charger to it? With that simple mod I think you would make it much user friendly :)
By just looking at the parts, they look to me to be made to fit of high tolerances? Every part on this launcher, screams to me high quality, and worth every penny. Hopefully you guys can include a detailed instruction manual to show people how to disassemble, and reassemble the launcher. Also, how to do proper maintenance on it as well. If I may make a suggestion, perhaps you can add a QR barcode, that when scanned, directs people to your instructional video on assembling, maintenance of the launcher. You can save some money on printing a manual for the launcher.
I love 97% of it. what I dislike is 1% being the CO2 hanging out the bottom, 1% it not able to accept Grimburg shaped projectiles, and 1% the price. I could accept the price if the other two problems were addressed on the 2.0 version
Are there any thoughts to make a V.2? Customers (including myself) are interested in a quick pierce c02 chamber and a releasable magazine, similar to the construction of the TRP or the upcoming FSC-XP.
Can i engage the co2 and leave it engaged for a period of time versus engaging it during use? Might not have enough time to engage it during an altercation!

It could be dirty CO2 clogging up the orifices. We're going to do a cleaning video. But if you took it apart it could also be the green air line. If it gets bent it can stop the flow just like any other air line. Could you please send us an email?
Sent an email through one I used for an order followup email but narrowed down the problem. The pin used to seal the hole for the fitting between the air line and the air chamber in the body was over inserted so deep it plugged the hole that leads into the chamber. Now when I puncture CO2 the bolt engages but I haven't been able to test fire (out of threaded 12g cartridges). I'll reply with the email again if something goes wrong.
I'm sorry, but the CO2 cartridge sticking out with the attachable knob kind of defeats the purpose of having a smaller grip. Also the fact that you have to estimate the proper position of the knob on the cartridge makes it very user unfriendly. It's fine for people who are really into gas launchers, but if you want to expand your customer base, then you'll want to take these things into consideration. Overall, it's an innovative design, and certainly has potential, but it needs more work.
Sorry I don't think you understand the measurements. It's hard to compare without side by side pictures. The grip is just as tall but, only half as long (from front to back) as the FSC / TCP grip, for the last 2 inches. Those are the inches that would print. And it's only 1/2" taller than the Byrna grip, but only on the hemisphere area of the bottom of the co2. So nothing noticeable. And this is for solid rounds, so the Byrna shouldn't even be considered. The FSC has a similar twist to puncture, but with a thumb screw. You have to estimate that position as well, and it is one of the top selling launchers. This knob is way easier than the thumb screw.
@@jarekkish5515 Don't worry about it. We have to expect some criticism. And thanks for even giving it a look. Another cool thing about the C02 is it detaches in case you wanna leave your launcher in your hot car, so the co2 doesn't explode. 👍
So I revieved my Galve, took out spring & white follower put in 5 ball, installed C02 doesn't shoot... tried 5 different C02's tried reloading & nothing, any suggestions? Watched video & loaded it the same ?
How far are you turning the CO 2? Some piercing valves are deeper than others. If you got one that's really not working please ship it back to us. We will reimburse you for the shipping and we will fix it. We test all units before shipping.
@@grimburglesslethal so every C02 I tried was pierced when I Un screwed them, I will try it again, if still not working, I'll send it back on the weekend when not working, thanks
