In this video a smooth brain orc explains the Alien Hives for Grimdark Future and goes over the units, tactics, and strategies. Then at the end we have a 2000 point battle report.

I like the story of the brave Shadow Leaper. Their friends get boomed in Turn 1 and then they proceed to kill 2 giant war machines.

That was a bloody game. Excellent job. More troops in OPR die from crappy dice rolls than any other cause. I'm looking at you Hive Lord🤕

Unbelievable ending!!!!!! LOVE your paint job!!!!!!! Was your base tones Brown and grey???? That wipe technique REALLY looks GREAT!!!! The color tone change is so pronounced!!!!!!!

The base colors were peach for the skin, then leather undercoat and black/grey overcoat for the carapaces.

@@WarbossFitz I never would of guessed peach! Brilliant paint job BuddY!!! I did a battle report for the campaign but LOVED the undead swamp attack you did so my battle report was based off of that idea. Sue will upload it shortly.

I found them on thingiverse. They are the flood exsploady boys from halo. I think they were scaled for 10 or 15mm and I scaled them up

There are great Official Books like the Alien Hives, Robot Legions, Sisters and so on, but hey! You really should take a moment to Consider all the Creator Books for a Video! Like "UNLIFE: SILENT EMPIRES" or one of the other like 20+ More Armys! I think alot of People dont even see those Possibilities! KAJIUS! GOSH even thats there!!

Question, Im new to OPR, but in combat after your first melee attack. Wouldn't you be fatigued for your following attacks that same turn? (Like if a unit had 2+ different melee attacks)

Do you mean if a model has 2 weapons and fight with one then fatigued on the second? No they get all of their attacks at regular quality then any other full combats later in the turn it would be fatigued. I may have done it wrong and not noticed it

@@WarbossFitz No your prolly right, I may have misunderstood. I had thought that a melee unit with multiple different melee attacks only got the first attack made in melee at full strength, then any following attacks that turn were "Fatigued". I appreciate the response tho, thanks! So I think I see my mistake, in the rulebook it says: "After attacking in melee for the first time during a round, either by charging or by striking back, models only hit on unmodified rolls of 6 in melee until the end of that round" I was taking that to mean, after the first melee attack, the following ones were considered Fatigued.

I see why this army is HATED!!!!! I've never seen so much AP4 in an army!!!!!! GOOD LORD!!!!!! If there is an army that needs some nerfing THIS IS IT!!!!!!
