The bug is that if you do not align the spheres correctly the first time and use the reset lever, the door does not open even if you align them correctly afterwards.
The bug is caused by the reset switch, to solve it and progress you have to press the reset button, go down the stairs, go up the stairs again, press the reset button and then place the spheres.
