Was just telling my kids this same thing the other day. The fact I had to introduce them to live festivals (Good Things) makes me sad but happy the same time it’s still kinda a thing but not how we had it 💪🏼

Damn they were so good! So cherished to have seen them from '98 to 2000 when for me personally, I reckon they were at their absolute blazing best!! Just loved seeing them perform "Tang" at that concert...great version of it. Thanks for sharing 43Kouta.....love the memories! :-)

That’s cool, Phil and the boys tearing it up it up is great. They are one of the best live Australian bands of their era. They tore it up at Fire Relief as well. A Guide to Better Living!! What a debut. It still features heavily on my playlist all these years down the road!! Rock on!!

Surprisingly awesome performance considering how smashed Phil is. For comparison I saw them in about 2019 and he walked on stage with a coffee in hand 🤣
These guys have such a great sound. Pat is a machine on the guitar, Chris has awesome rhythms, and Joe plays some chunky fucking bass. Underated musicians. Phil rounds it out beautifully. And look at that goddamn crowd. Pretty sure I was in there too.
Fuck this was so long ago now haha was one of the best days of my life, just turned 18, got in for free, had my first pill, picked up a hot girl, didn't really listen to grinners till after I seen them that day, don't have days like that anymore haha, good times
This is a genuine shock seeing this as I'm a Brit watching Grinspoon for the first time, however I live in Australia but only for the last 4 years and until my wife bought us tickets to see Phil Jamieson last Saturday at the SSA in Albury I had no idea what to expect! I deliberately didn't Google or Wiki him or the band so had no pre-conceptions. A great evening and ably supported by local band (but Nationally known) Micro Cuts. If there were 200 people there, I'd be very surprised which must have been a huge disappointment to Phil. The gig could have easily taken 2000. Oh well that's regional Australia for ya I guess
Back when it was a Big Day Out and people could handle it. 75000 people there and they ran out of piss at 3pm.. . had to get more in. At the front and Foo Fighters next!

Awesome band. Still cant ger over how terrible the drummer is though. Doesnt even know how to use a ride. Has no wrist technique. Some rockstars get lucky I guess
