I've bought and tried at least eight different compounds, none worked. Watched this video, bought the product, Griot's compound brought back my oxidized paint on my truck 99% to like new. AMAZED!!!! Thank you kindly for posting this video. Truth be told, this stuff ROCKS!!! Compounded it, then finished it with Griot's; then sealed it with a wax coat. I'm SOLD on this product, thank you kindly Sir. Mike J

I used the Griots compound from Autozone with the Griots G9 Polisher on a 2500 Ram with pretty heavy swirls; the results were incredible! I’d love to use their BOSS products as soon as I’m done with this compound.

I love the video!! When I look for a new/used car, I am a rare person because for me, the paint is so important. I just purchased a 4 year old black car (extremely low miles) and when I was critiquing the paint, the dealer said they would detail it; I said give me another $1k off and I will do it myself!

The problem is enhancements just aren't *nearly* as fun and rewarding for us. 😁 But one steps are becoming the norm very quickly with thin soft water based paint. So it's even more important to do multiple tests spots and be able to quickly dial in your combo to get the cut you need and still finish down to get the most out of the one trip. Unfortunately I find that means broadening your inventory. Having just one goto compound and polish and a couple pad types isn't an ideal route. GFCC and or a 50/50 pad may work great on one car, and turn around and suck on another, but it loves 3D One and or a medium wool pad. Etc., etc.. I'm a product hoarder and try new stuff constantly to geek out and mix things up, so that's fine with me. But a LOT of detailers pick a system, 100/105/205, Hyper Compound/Polish, etc. and stick with it and master it.

Scott you have officially won me over with Griots. I was a fan of chemical guys and still is but by watching this video, Jeepers Creepers, I can't believe that they have created a one step paint correction cream. Instead of going out and spending money on the three step process, you get it all in one step with Griots. I truly believe you would of gotten the rest of those scratches off with 4 more passes over that panel. I'm looking forward to getting my next practice car so I can try it out. Keep up up the good work Scott. God bless your ministry. Yes I said ministry because that is your gift and God has used you for over 30 years to meet people all over the Dallas area and built long lasting relationships. Keep it up.

I’ve used this to paint correct my fathers Camry , which looked as if he took it to a demolition derby. It removed all the scratches including one that ran bumper to bumper along an entire side. I did it to surprise him because my mother had asked me to . He thought my mother had traded his Camry for another.

We do our share of paint corrections at my shop. Groits is my go to compounds, depends on the paint, make. Well I just bought a 2015 Ford F-150 4x4 ,white in color. When looking at it before I bought it showed me deep scratches but heck, I own a detail shop, no problem! After the prep work I took out my Rupes Mark II, Groits Fast Correcting Cream and an orange foam pad. Results weren't to my liking , still had scratches. Moved up to a Meguiars MF cutting pad, little better but still not happy. I then took out my Meguairs m100 which is meant using a wool pad and a rotary buffer but I stuck with my Ruoes and MF cutting pad. Very happy, the scratches were gone, very easy to wipe off, I then followed up with m205. I was very happy with the results. I'm saying m100 can be used using a DA with some tweaking, less is better, don't over work it. Groits is still my go to compound. Thanks for sharing bud!

I'm confused; why did you use a compound that was not designed for a DA? I think I'm missing what benefit or advantage did the m100 provide over other DA specific options like FCC or m105, or menzerna's compound etc. Did you use it to achieve a higher cut for example? I'm curious

Hello Dallas! You've earned a subscriber way up in Fargo ND!!! I've been to Big-D 3 yrs in a row, in early Jan. My NDSU Bison won 5 National Championships in a row there (Toyota Stadium in Frisco!!!). Just barely missed getting there this Jan tho'. Learning a lot from you! Wife just gave me a Griot's buffer for Father's-Day, so I'm having fun! Recovering from Rotator-Cuff surgery in April restricts my buffing time however!

Would you bother getting the Correcting Cream to go along with this or just go with the fast Correcting Cream and a polish (m205 or Griot's Perfecting Cream)?
@dallaspaintcorrectionautod8343
great question but the answer is no..i still need both because i may be working on a car that has been compounded to many times and the risk of removing to much clear coat i would want the correcting cream in my stock and not use the more aggressive fast correction cream in this scenario...i hope that helps answer your question...thanks for your support:)

Have a 2017 Harley Davidson FXDLS, black paint, paint doesn't have deep scratches, not even swirls really. I find myself constantly fighting towel marks, very fine swirls. What do you recommend to for mirror like finish? I wash, clay, megs swirl remover in tan bottle, ultimate polish and wax twice a year. I use all clean microfibers, and the clear is a powder coat.
