GRIS Ending Reaction - Upside-down, Pink - Part 4 

I saw the secret ending (it's actually in the video) and then it all made sense! A very sad game but hopeful for a future of healing.

Where is the statue leaping into the void ? I've finished the game twice, both 100% and I don't recall ever seeing something like that.

Oh, I am sure you saw the statue as you can't miss it. But is subtle without you realizing the context. Here is the statue, before meeting the bird, now look at her feet, she looks down and is about to jump: photos.app.goo.gl/cSQphBCX1x54XUnNA That style of the statue... with that size... you saw it all the time suffering but with that design, there are only two more statues, one that gives you the depression achievement: photos.app.goo.gl/i2UTpWpTnKJHkPwP9 And the next one is the acceptance achievement: photos.app.goo.gl/YduakbyNqXw2WTJh9 Again, is subtle, so you can apply the story to yourself and interiorize the experience, just like the memory with her mom happy is very important and cathartic for her but not for you: you need to work and search for it as you as the player don't need it. But if you really look for meaning the story is there, either like this or with symbolism. Edit: In fact, if you tried to sing to the statue that is about to jump gave you the acceptance achievement too. At first, I thought it was a glitch (as that is skipping two stages and maybe they even patched it later) but if you think about it, if you accept that is jumping now you are accepting her death too.

A google search could have answered that instead of me, but ok. Turtles have these symbolic meanings: longevity, *perseverance,* *steadfastness,* *protection,* retreat, *healing,* *tranquility,* the Earth, and *transformation.* Edit: Pretty much all of them apply. Hell, even retreat and Earth, as she is helping you retreat out of the water into solid ground. O_o

Don't worry, is just that there is a lot of interesting information about it and I was going to do a poor job in answer myself. Do you understand what I mean? Is kind of a disservice me being too on-point to answer it xD

The music and the visuals just work so nicely. And we can feel the pain throughout the whole game even if we don't know the exact cause of it.

Exist an theory that Gris is the girl that died. And the game is about the process of her mother to acept that, in her grief process. This explain Gris walking to the "heavens", in her star walkway in the end. This game is so poetic, Sad, and painful. Because that, the game have many interpretations, and theories. Beautiful game. ❤

@@danyhunselar9654 Yeah I thought this at first but the hidden ending is left ambiguous deliberately, & it is her mother who cries at the end. You may be right though, who knows? 🤔 Either way it is still an unsurpassed Masterpiece. Maybe only topped by The Witcher 3 which had me in tears, in laughter, in rage, & spellbound by the end. If you haven't played it, take the time to do so. It changed my life & I felt as though I had lost a friend by the end. Totally fell head over heels for the love Geralt & Yennifer share, but there is a dialogue in the game which allows you to snub her advances.. 😥 and it breaks her heart 😭 The ending of Ghost of Tsushima also had me balling my eyes out lol! Like a lil' bitch!! 🤣Still afraid to go back to that world! 💔 Take care x

@@lol-ql6dx I only know that, haanji., dadaji and dadiji. My best friend growing up was Indian and I spent a lot of time when I was little at her house and with her family. I watched Kuch Kuch Hota Hai twice now, and I know of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol from there (my friend was obsessed with them). The music from that movie is very special from my childhood. Chaiyya Chaiyya (Dil Se) is another song, great to dance to! Oh, and Indian food is one of my favorites. I love South Indian cuisine because they have Masala Dosa and Uttapam.
