After a summer-long hiatus, Soundcheck relaunches this month with a new 1-hour radio broadcast every weeknight, an exclusive from one of New York's hottest bands -- and a new digital home, Soundcheck.org.
On Sept. 10 the acclaimed New York indie band Grizzly Bear joined John Schaefer for an exclusive sneak preview of their upcoming new album, "Shields." The band performed new songs during a live video webcast and taping!
Here's one of those new songs, "Speaking in Rounds".

I can't think of a single more talented and beautiful band than Grizzly Bear. I feel extremely lucky to be alive during their careers to experience this. Literally the best band on the planet in my opinion.

it wasn't a matter of wrong tuning. Dan just played wrong second chord. it has to be A - C - F, but Dan played A - D - F.

@@SewSawThief he is literally shown tuning multiple strings following that. Ed noticed it immediately. He was probably just tuned up from the last song and forgot what was next, seeing as how he had all that time to tune during the intro yet didn't. A musician would have seen this, I have listened to this song hundreds of times and that's not how Daniel plays that into lol. We've all been there before

Most funny performence of GB xD I'm a big fan but this stage is really weake and we have to say it. Flat singing from Drosty (probably ill), Wrong tuning of the guitare 0:54, microphone saturation at 1:37 wrong notes on the clave 2:35, missed harmonie at 3:40. Chris Taylor is smart to stay on the back playing for his own vibes lol
