For bear or for worse... I was somewhat stoked to see this, since the "original" Grizzly, from 1976, is a guilty pleasure. I hence to call this version a "re-imagining", as that would imply that the first one was any better than it is. This one should have, and could have been much better, as far as these flicks go. They pussed out on the gore and I can't wrap my head around a deaf tree-hugger. Shouldn't that be one of the Top 3 Environments for a deaf person to avoid being in alone? Always cool to see Billy Bob though. Maybe I'll see him in this movie as Karl Childers the bear hunter in a vision later on :)

Me and one other person I know just started inexplicably cracking up in the middle of this movie.. like for 5 minutes straight! We watched it separately. Hahaha! like a slow burn of the deepest cosmic lvl nonsense that your brain suddenly realizes. Ill try to give the fleeting essence of it below. Its like ok billy hahahhaa is just in the middle of the woods being a bear hunter dum dee dumm. And then he fills up a canteen and walks to his horse which is like a 2 minute shot like the director was like ok im an 8 yr old aspergers alien. Lets put just things in front of the camera. Ok thats humans talking and moving.. oh yeah n then we were shooting a movie about a bear right? So bear stuff! Ok now look a this HUMAN conversation. Voices have sounds and people like sounds right? Look my right foot goes after left foot when im walking and im wearing a leather jacket.. And for like lol half the movie you are like nodding uh huhh .. hahhaha and then u realize like hahha wait! i dont have to take this shit anymore hahaha!!! Wat the fuck is going on??! Then u cant stop laughing!!

I just noticed this. Saw the 1976 Grizzly in the theatre. Scared the crap out of me for the woods. Then I joined the Boy Scouts. Found out the fairy tale of monster bears was total shit. Just don't leave your food around ground level when camping/sleeping at night, even a measly candy bar.

Tbh the movie looked bad bit i saw it anyway. At the end its not so bad for low budget movie. I like forest and whole scenery was really cool as i like nature/adventure kind of movies.
