A kind advice: please folks, get the book and enjoy the ride. It is hands down one of the best sci-fi thrillers out there, ever. When you then watch this "masterpiece", you can still enjoy the pretty pictures if you like. There is so much left out, so much potential wasted - no wonder Frank walked out on the production team early on.

Killer whale, real killer whale, killer crab, killer tsunami. This is probably the best 2023 series that I'm not gonna watch.

The scabs that stayed on during the SAG AFKA strike were clearly the ones left in charge of this one. "I would tell an invading force to stop" Wow. Groundbreaking. Reminds me of Storm's amazing one liner from X-men "do you know what happens to a toad in a storm, the same thing that happens to everything else!"

Have read the book. Good to see they make it a series, the story would be bad for a single movie.

I read the book when it came out and it was absolutely one of the best. Watched the series recently and was quite surprised that it was as good.

The series started out great and some of the events depicted (Orcas) are eerily relevant, but the ending is even worse of a let-down than Bran Stark getting on the Iron Throne.

0:28 I "love" how EVERY single movie's trailer now, has got to have this "woooo" depletion sound. It's kind of compulsory. I mean : what do the production departments think when implementing this ? "'Oh, that's right, we almost forgot : we have to put a "wooo" in the trailer. Where shall we put it ?"

The novel written by Frank Schætzing was so spectacular that i couldn't dream of watching a movie any time soon at the time the novel was written. So I'm excited now!

I read the Book 15 years ago and dreamed of a really big movie. We have a series here in Germany and it’s a real bad s$£t! I got more hope in this series.

Germany here. We've watched this series in April already and i can absolutely recommend it.

A studio universal quality movie if ever I saw one.

Even moreso when I just observed that one of the actresses in this film, Cecile De France, was in another movie I saw recently where Matt Damon plays a very gifted psychic, and hates his gift. I can relate to that one. "Hereafter".

Hated when the small dwarf creature had to kill the giant squid for no reason whatsoever, they should have made a pact with Mr.Escott!

I hate it when a trailer basically tells the whole story. Should leave some things a mystery.

All I saw, recognized, and understood was the movie was made from "The Producers of Game of Thrones". All I have to say is " GIVE ME A BREAK!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! After the problem they caused ( for not only HBO but also the GoT universe), why would anyone in their right mind allow David Benioff / D.B. Weiss to produce nor storywrite for any movie or tv show!! Hollywood should have gotten rid of them after their fiasco a long time ago!

I'm gonna assume some unknown underwater alien life that's been buried over millions of years since the extinction of dinosaurs and the stone age, as it grows self aware and smarter, an inspiration of Tremors.

I’m so tired of that worn out, over used, sound that drops out before something happens in a trailer.

The final line of a trailer is usually supposed to be the important part. Lol

More dramatic music. Yeah. That's I think it needs more of.
