Banana bread recipe

1/2C butter or ghee
1 1/2C sugar
2 eggs separated
1C of mashed bananas (about 5 medium size)
1 1/2C flour
1t baking soda
1/4t salt
1t VAnilla
1/2C nuts
4T sour cream
Personal adjustments: I only used 1C of brown sugar, added 1/2C semi sweet chocolate chips and I only added the pecans to the top of the bread and a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add yolks, beat well. Blend in banana and vanilla, mix and set aside. In a separate bowl combine flour, sugar, baking soda and mix well. Combine the banana mixture with the flour mixture then add chocolate chips or nuts. Whisk egg whites until stiff peaks are formed. Fold into batter alternating with sour cream until completely combined. Grease your loaf pan and bake at 300°F for 1hr.
