As a Brazilian, I find so stranger that Americans don’t pressure cook! We don’t really use the electric one, we use the one that goes over the stove, but we do it for ages! That’s how we cook beans, so many types of chicken and meat. It was a surprise to me to find out that it’s not something common everywhere. But I do love those little things that we do different from each other, from all over the world.

My sweet wonderful sister in law blessed me with my air fryer for Christmas, and when it died my husband was hooked on my air fried meals and promptly bought me a Corsori off Amazon and then our former roommate bought the same one. It's wonderful! I mostly throw potatoes in it and then add peppers and sausage and onions at the shale break, shake it one more time and breakfast or lunch is ready! I love to sprinkle nutritional yeast on top. I season all the food in my own spice mix with some avocado oil.

Frozen chicken breasts in the insta pot is a game changer. Done in no time and you have the main for any dish you want. You must try just once triple cream yogurt! You’ll hide so you don’t have to share. Put your ground beef in ziplock bags and flatten. They store beautifully in your freezer saving lots of room. Cook Hamburg portions for your family put into ziplock and freeze. Later put frozen in your instapot and use for sloppy joes or casseroles. Saves time.

Cook up the ground beef then freeze in pre-portioned bags for different meals. It makes it so much quicker when you need it, and it is already cooked.

The best way to transition kids from butter pasta to pasta with tomato sauce is letting them put ketchup on it. Starting with a little and working your way up. It works like magic.

My husband got me the ninja foodie air fryer!!! It’s a MUST for big families!! You can fit whole pans of chicken and what not in it for family serving sizes. Air fries, broils, bakes, roasts, and toasts. I’m sorry I went so long without it lol.

I LOVE my air fryer!! I never knew how much I would use it but it is literally a life saver. I have the one from pampered chef and I literally can’t say enough good things about it. My family has such a huge appreciation for perfectly crisp hot wings and now I can make them from home. Get one. Seriously. You won’t regret it.

We sometime buy out ground beef "log style". you can divide the 10 pound tube into 1 pound packages and fit it into freezer bags, roll them out flat and the stack really well in the freezer.

She is real and strong, yes, but remember that she has a truly supportive, loving husband who does help with household chores (including the cooking). Many women don't have that, which does hinder their quality of life from being better (because one adult can't do it all, in most cases).

The best "air fryer" is the Breville smart oven air. Its a toaster, an air fryer, convection oven, proofer (bread dough) and can even fit a turkey in it! I use mine every day.

I have an air fryer that is 10 in 1, it can rotisserie and dehydrate and several other things along with the air frying, I got it at Walmart and it is amazing! It comes with a basket that rotates, skewers for kabobs, and amazing recipes. The rotisserie chicken literally took about 20 minutes and a couple of seasonings I already had and it was literally better than one you’d buy from store, oh and Walmart did have them on mark down for anyone interested! ☺️

I have both instant pot and air fryer and lets just say air fryer has now found a permanent place on our kitchen counter. We LOVE IT!!! only way i willl cook bacon and yes there are tons of recipes for air fryer. I've seen ppl bake in there! such a useful kitchen appliance.

Get an air fryer it's so useful my family and I use it every day! It's super useful for cooking Brussels, asparagus, and other veggies. We also use it for reheating frozen foods like chicken tenders and taquitos. SUPER useful!!

Oh, and there's a RU-vid channel called "Six Sisters" that focuses mostly on use of instant pots. They do tons of recipes I think would be very good for you to try given the size of your family, etc.

Measure out the hamburger I usually do 1 or 2 lb freezer bags. Freezing the whole log will be terrible when thawing

We use our air fryer daily! Tator tots, chicken, breaded shrimp, whatever you want to put in and so simple. You must get one. Great video as always!

An air fryer is a convection oven. It just makes the air circulate around the food at a higher temperature.

for the beef log, cut up portions and put them in individual ziplock baggies that way you can freeze some and don't have to use it all at once

The large tube of ground beef can be put in smaller portions before freezing that way you don’t need to handle the whole thing.

Air fryers are AMAZING! I was so skeptical at first but it’s easily used 5 days a week in some capacity - and not necessarily for only traditionally fried foods. We have a Ninja dual basket air fryer that we LOVE and it lets us to cook 2 separate types of food at the same time - even at different temps/times and makes them both finish together

The Zatarain's dirty rice mix makes AMAZING filling for tacos. Also, if you have peppermint vitality oil from Young Living you can add a drop or two into your brownie batter and it makes fantastic peppermint brownies!!

In New Orleans area you see tubes of ground meat in the store as ll the time ! You take it home break it down into the amount of meat you need for a meal and put it in freezer bags

We break bulk ground beef up into 1lb packs and freeze them. Makes it easier for defrosting exactly what you need

I have the ninja “pot” mine air frys too. Let me tell you, you’ve never had fried chicken so delicious before! The ninja wouldn’t be big enough for y’all but find one! You won’t regret it. Also thanks for the grocery inspiration lol here I go making my list!

If you get an air fryer, make sure you get a big as one as possible. It's best to think of them as a way to make side dishes. They just simply aren't big enough to make main dishes for big families.

I was the same way with the instant pot. I kept thinking that sucker was going to blow into the ceiling! Ha Now I love it. I like to try new things, but make the old faithful a lot, since a bunch of kids, just want them to eat. I get sick of tacos, spaghetti, but they do not.

Maybe place the sectional sofa in front of the fireplace. Brown couch and chairs in piano room. I struggle with our living room each Christmas it is so small. May you find the perfect arrangement and play place for family time. Wishing you all a joyful Christmas. Mrs. Linda Behrens

I have the double basket Ninja air fryer. It’s great very simple to use and has settings like air fry, max crisp, bake etc. And having two basket means you na cook a huge portion between the two baskets, or use them for different foods at different temps at the same time. Great if I’m cooking something savoury in one and want to put an individual frozen cookie in the other to cook! It has completely replaced my use of my oven and pretty much I don’t use my toaster anymore as the air fryer does a good job at toasting even though it’s not sold as that.

I have a Ninja Foodi and would highly recommend it. It combines air fryer, pressure cook, slow cook, grill and who knows what else. We barely use our stove and oven since getting it.

The ninja foodi, it’s an instant pot, crock pot, & air fryer, dehydrator, and a few other things! I love that I can cook chicken fast with the instant pot portion & then flip on the air fryer to crisp it. All in the same gadget! Lol

We have 12 kids. We ALWAYs get the 10 lb logs of ground beef. In fact, sometimes we get a whole case, which is 80 lbs, because it's cheaper per pound. I process it all in different ways, and bulk cook some of it, but love those big ol' logs. Ha!

There’s a meal everyone around here (Indiana) makes. Idk if it’s a staple for everyone... but it’s green beans, potatoes and smoked sausage diced up in the crockpot with onion and beef broth. Omg it’s the best comfort food. I usually make a huge pot and we eat on it for a few days being a family of 4.

My mom has a huge air fryer oven that she’s replaced her toaster oven with, it would definitely be large enough for your big family and she is obsessed! I have an instant pot brand air fryer and that one is good too, but small. The brand is kalorik, she got it at kohl’s

I break my beef logs into freezer gallon bags and freeze for later. It’s so much cheaper in my area (Indiana) to buy it like this at the Amish discount store.

Angela, not sure where you live but Aldi and Walmart carry the "Everything Bagel Seasoning" you could get that and put on your plain bagels, or really a lot of things. Great video!! Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to seeing the meals you make that is on your plan. :)

We have a ninja "foodie" and it's ok. I'm not sold on it mostly because it's so heavy and takes up a LOT of space. The air fryer is bigger then a lot of others, it can hold a full bag of tater tots at once, to give you a size idea. Not exactly large family size but bigger then a lot. The instant pot definitely makes better rice then the foodie. I do like having the option of two pressure cookers so I keep both for our large family.

We have an Instant Pot brand air fryer and we love it! Ours is the 10 qt. Vortex Plus. But they have a bigger one called the Omni. There's also a great Facebook group, the Instant Air Fryer Community. They answer questions and share recipes. It's great!

I LOVE our air fryer, however I'm not sure how it would work for a family of 10. We have a 6 quart and it makes perfect meals for just the two of us (as in chicken or salmon with vegetables at the same time). I really like it for heating up leftover pizza or something when the microwave would make it soggy! It would probably work for you guys more for like side dishes or desserts!

I LOVE my instant pots, I have 3! I got 2 of them second hand, brand new. I will often use 2 for the same meal. I also have 8 kids and I am the worst meal planner ever so the crock pot isn't good for me. I promise they are so easy but they do have a learning curve but there are so many You Tube videos to help figure them out.

I'm don't like adding new kitchen appliances to our house because they can get overwhelming and take up so much space but the air fryer is so worth it! As long as you get a big one that you mentioned (some are so small they are very impractical) but there is so much you can do with it, it's so fast and makes really good food! Definitely one of my favorite must haves in our kitchen.

I fast freeze . I cut my chicken breasts into slices and spread onto baking sheet use parchment paper underneath when frozen pop into freezer bags they are individually frozen and then just take out how many you need . i do this with pork tenderloin also. I also do this with fresh peppers and onions. I fast freeze so many things now . I date everything that I put into the freezer. i lay my cookie sheet on top of everything in the freezer takes about 30 min to freeze.

I guess I'm the opposite of so many... I'm not a big air fryer fan. It's a huge appliance and I can't fit enough stuff in it for my family of 5 so I can't imagine a family of 10!! We make a few things in it, but I never recommend it. I was scared if the instant pot too but I LOVE it!! Hard boiled eggs, baked potatoes, rice, chicken, broth.... So many things. I don't usually make my whole meal in there but use it all of the time!

Also try the southwest chicken tacos in the instant pot!! Shredded chicken is a breeze in there, never fails. My fav shredded chicken recipe is the crack chicken...sooo yummy

We have had our instant pot for a year and I have only made rice in it. It makes the best rice ever. I want an air fryer but haven't bought one yet. They all look small and we have a pretty big family.

I always buy the big roll of ground beef. Break it down and into ziploc bags for each meal. I usually get 6 meals out of it. Maybe 7 if we do burgers!

We just got the ULTREAN 8.5 Quart a couple months ago and I'm in love with it. Its huge, but we just went with the one, so we do not have to cook multiple batches. I highly recommend it.

Instant pot has a standalone air fryer! It looks like a stove, has I think 4 racks. My boyfriend has this and it's big enough to do dehydrated fries and veg in for homemade chips and stuff. I'd love to get that one but I don't have the room for that size, instant pot also sells a top now that can be switched out on your instant pot and turns it into an air fryer, I've been hesitant on this bc a big pot doesn't seem that diverse but I also haven't looked into it much!

Hi Angela! Couple questions... Do any of your kids have food allergies or sensitivities? How many lunches and dinner recipes do you plan for a week? Along with that question, do you tend to not have leftovers since your family is so large? I loved seeing your grocery haul and meal ideas! I find myself in a meal planning rut every other week😂 I try to keep things simple and budget friendly but nutritionally balanced. It’s nothing compared to your family of 10, but I find it so challenging with my husband recently starting a heart health/lower cholesterol diet and a 2 year old with daily changing preferences.😅

I haven’t tried much in my air fryer, but I’ve loved potatoes and reheated leftovers so far! I have the PowerXL Vortex 7 quart one and got it from Sam’s.
