Hello everyone, today's video is a grocery haul and meal plan. I haven't done one of these in so long, but I hope you enjoy it. These groceries will cover all our snacks and lunches for the week, as well as 6 meals.

MEALS-
Tuesday- Chicken Pasta Bake with homemade Garlic Bread
Wednesday- Homemade Fish Fingers, Chips and Veg
Thursday- Slow Cooker Spaghetti Bolognese
Friday- Veggie Stir Fry with Soy Sauce, Prawn Crackers and Sweet Chilli Dip
Saturday- Chicken in a bag
Sunday- Roast Dinner

Love your grocery hauls and meal plans! They’re normal, realistic family meals which are quick but healthy. No ‘braising’ or ‘air frying’ or 5 different types of fish or weird equipment that most of us normal families don’t have!! Love these videos from you. Thanks so much for uploading xx

I love a grocery haul for some inspiration. We have so much choice but often end up eating same meals or struggle for ideas. Seeing what someone else is having really helps, even better we have Tesco online delivery pass

Love these videos! I'm a vegan student living on my own, so my shopping obviously looks very different, BUT they're just really calming and kind of remind me that there's different meals I can make (and veganise). Thank you for sharing

Thank you for a lovely comment. I really need to try and incorporate more vegan meals into our diet. I went through a stage of having two to three vegan/veggie meals a week so I need to try and do that again. And roast dinners always haha!

I love a good old haul. By the way I tried fajitas a la Katie Ellison and now I can't go back. Raw veg is the superior choice. All other ways are dead to me. lol I love your vids!

I love watching grocery hauls & meal planners for inspiration. The chicken in a bag sounds delicious but simple. I must try that seeded bread as well - Ive seen it before but just stuck to boring wholemeal. Think I will definitely buy it next week! Thank you & please continue with your vlogs, love watching! x

Loved this. I tend to get stuck in a rut with meals and have the same things over and over so it’s nice to have some new ideas. We used to do the chicken in a bag thing ages ago and I completely forgot about it so going to try that again next week.

Like the sound of your home made fish fingers 😊 do you find it easier to budget doing your shopping this way? I tend to do one big shop but then go to the supermarket to get fresh fruit, meat etc and more often than not do a top up shop as well 😆😆 I’m normally spend more than I planned too 🤭🤭 xxx

Yes definitely. For a while we got into the habit of going into the supermarket every few days and we found we were spending a lot more! Plus I would keep adding random things to my basket too ;) x

Im loving those thin bagels too toasted with scrambled egg for lunch❤️ also forgot to say have you tried the part baked petit pains bread that u throw in the oven for 5 mins from Tesco, so lovely with soup 😋

Have you never thought about getting an acti fry so that you can make homemade chips? Much healthier and cheaper too, I don’t like frozen chips personally, I think they’re rank, but it’s personal preference I guess. :)

I really like frozen oven chips not sure why 😆 but I do. Especially just the really big standard ones. We make roast potatoes etc but just not oven chips. None of my kids eat chips as they don’t like them so it’s just me and Jon who eat them. Xx

Thanks Joana, I do agree with you completely. I do try and cut down on plastic and buy things without plastic if I can- e.g unwrapped Leeks, apples etc. But often the supermarkets don't have many alternatives. x

I agree. I try and get things where I can that aren’t wrapped, eg apples, leeks, etc. And I try to make better choices where I can. But I do my shop online and pick it up and I can’t help how they package things. We also get them without plastic bags etc now. But yes it is a lot of plastic.
