My husband came home from work yesterday and asked how much I loved him....then he handed me 3 packages of tortillas that were 25c each! I love him so so much! I was wondering if you have ever thought of having another channel for your baking business? I would love to see some budget cooking videos! I'm glad your vids are back in my notifications! Have a great week!
That’s awesome!! I’ve thought about a baking decorating channel but I have my hands pretty full right now. I’ll be working on some more cook with me videos soon though! I’m glad you’re here!
I haven't been shopping at Walmart lately, only because I'm rarely in the area of that store. My Kroger affiliate, Smith's, is less than a mile from our house, along with their gas station, so it's not worth the fuel to drive an additional 3 miles to Walmart. However, I do visit that area about once a month for Costco and CVS to pick up a prescription, so a visit wouldn't be unusual. But the only items I tend to get there are cat food and litter because Smith's doesn't sell our particular food and our cat has dietary restrictions (not to mention a particular palate). I've recently considered a subscription for our cat food because Walmart keeps our cat food on the top shelf, and my 5 ft 2 height makes retrieval quite difficult, but I'm not sure how much I need.
Oh wow! Yeah that all makes total sense. Do you have Walmart delivery available from your store?? I wonder if that would be worth it since you can decide when to order more.
@savvysaute6578 they do offer delivery as well as pick up services. I have used their delivery before but mostly from their distribution centers for items that are cheaper than Amazon (like the Windex Outdoor Window spray that I just received). I never thought about using them for cat food, but that would be convenient! Thanks for the idea!
I get so distracted inside Walmart vs an expensive grocery store. How do u stay in budget when it's so easy to just throw it in the cart? Lol I'm to impulsive around good prices
Haha I get that! I always start out with a list of exactly what I need for meals & snacks. We can only eat so much in a week, so I don’t feel deprived by picking a couple things now and waiting until next time to get more. That way I know we will use up what we have and I won’t overspend.
If you have the Walmart app and your debit card is tied to it then your purchase might be in the transaction history. It will give a breakdown like the receipt will if you need it for your budget tracking. I don't know if that's helpful for the lost receipt or not.
