@Anzu Wyliei sorry should have explained better lol. Some farms will allow you to purchase a cow, hog, bison, etc. and pay whatever they would have gotten at market value (almost always less than what you would buy it for pound for pound at the grocery). The farmer may arrange for the animal to be slaughtered or you may have to take it to a butcher yourself but you'll get all of the meat.
My grandma hazel, god bless her as she's passed away now, was exactly the same. My uncle is 6'7-8 (post surgery lost probably an inch) 360 used to be a bouncer and part time construction, and she could crush him into the dirt with the love and care she put into her cooking. Southern hospitality on her end.
@John Gotti We get how you feel, but the "Starving Africans" argument is old. Africa is not the only place that has people whom has starving people, and starvation over there is wrong to say. Poor is better, because people in Africa DO have food to eat. They don't always have money. Many people are starving in America. I see homeless people often. Real starvation is everywhere. Stop subconsciously putting down *BLACK* people with your back-handed compassion.
Here we can see the gentle beast, traversing the land of humans, looking for a snack EDIT: I completely forgot I ever left this comment lmao. I never thought it was get this many likes😂😄
Brian might be one of the most humble and unassuming guys I’ve ever seen. You can hear it in his voice that he genuinely cares about what he’s saying and what he’s presenting. It’s so cool to see guys that have done what he’s done that care enough to engage with their fans and publications like M&S. Keep doing what you do, Brian!
Tbh he can greatly reduce cost easily.its a shame he buys as he could pay 2 grand to hunt a bison and that be hella cheaper and cleaner meat.with how much he eats a bison is legit a menu option shopping wise.
TheUltimateGamer245 all you gotta do is go on instagram and it’s just full of posts of bodybuilders shit talking each other, slandering coaches calling people soggy glutes lol
In his case he lived with his parents and worked part time personal training until he won his first WSM title and prize money and sponsorships started paying enough to support him.
Don't go for premium stuff like bison, mainly. Bulk buy. Chicken tends to be a lot cheaper (and leaner, depends on whether you think that's a good thing or not) than red meat. Lots of calories can come from oats, rice, potatoes - all things that are cheap, especially when bought in bulk.
@Anzu Wyliei I'm not keen on farmed fish, there tends to be a lot of buildup of crap in them, and lots of antibiotics. But lots of people swear by it. Good source of lean protein if you're going for white fish, and it allows you to vary your proteins a bit which can help it not get boring. Non-farmed fish is expensive, though...
Vaibhav Patel thanks for the Sub! We have more Brian coming on M&S. If you’d like to support him directly, I’d recommend subbing to his channel ShawStrength as well 💪
They’re raised on ranches for this specific purpose. I have a bison ranch near where I live. You can buy jerky, steaks, ground bison. You can thank our ancestors for the destruction of over 60 million bison.
@@adb8003 Actually that would be false Science shows that almost everybody You have seen is related to you but it's lost in the DNA so technically it's our ancestors, Also It's highly likely someone in your family be it relatives or Mom or Dad Have eaten or encouraged someone to eat bison, Your comment is pretty racist indicating only Us white people have ate Bison.
Heh, indeed. I actually liked that part a lot. But what is he? (no offence to Brian in any way). He is the world's strongest man and a huge piece of muscle. He is humble, kind and genuine person. Is there a reason why he should bring the "strong man" thing up in every shop? :) I mean this the good way, don't get me wrong :) I have close friends who are also big guys, they are the most humble and gentleman persons ever. I guess that it somewhat sums to the saying "with great power comes great responsibility". They have nothing to prove to anyone, no reason to "show off" or take others down. They know 100% sure that they could do it, that's why they don't have to. Smaller guys who has bad self-esteem are the problem.
I guarantee if you saw this dude out in public and stopped to talk to him he would probably have a conversation with you. Seems very humble and full of absolute knowledge.
@@muscleandstrength I've met some really big guys. From bodybuilders to a professional wrestler. Quite a few of them seem to be a bit more polite and soft spoken. I think they realize that their extraordinary size can intimidate some people.
My dad and I used to watch Brian Shaw’s videos all the time. For anyone wondering he’s always in a really good mood and despite his size seems to be SUER kind, gentle, and down to earth. They kind of guy who you’d love to hang out with and who you’d trust with your secrets and emotions.
