@@66Ack honestly I never had any issues with it as of yet. I’ve been proactive and upgraded everything I could so I didn’t give me problems. I have some videos on this
I said the same thing. Just do your research and simple maintenance and it’s all good. A year later and 5000miles later and the best thing ever. I rode it more than my Zx6r.
The only reason the grom boys are hating on these clones is because they the ones who bit the bullet and bought expensive groms, they lowkey jealous that’s it
I also have a 2020 Vader gen 2... I love it. It's a fun stupid stuff bike, like a Grom, but 1/3 the price. I'd only consider a Grom if I didn't want to change anything mechanical. Honda reliability is legendary, no need to mess with it. But if an owner was going to go hog wild... Might as well mod a clone.
Its not bad. I also consider to buy 1 just to mess it up. Probably waiting for someone to sell it used. Doubt its will hold the resale value like Grom. My grom the only mod is done is change the stock exhaust & side mirror.
@@ohlalalala1000 you’d be surprised. On my local listings pages people in my area of NH/ME are asking more for their bikes than when they were brand new shipped to their door.
@@valleybud1783 yes... It's a 125cc motorcycle not a scooter or moped. I don't think there's anywhere outside of 3rd world countries where you wouldn't need a full cycle endorsement.
My notta GROM will smoke yours in the looks and speed , that’s what probably happened , a vader which cost less and looked way nicer than your “GROM”smoked you and looks , runs and sounds way better than yours for half or a quarter of the money , ever since you noticed that instead of spending less you just became a jealous ass hater and now all these other lames think the Honda is better just because it costs more money, and that’s it that’s why they think a GROM is better cause it cost more.🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯
On the RedFox website they advertise their Vader as having a 125cc BOSS motor Special Edition. WHAT'S THAT? None of the other sellers of the 125cc Vader mini motorcycles advertise a "BOSS" motor or special edition. Is it something real or just advertising? They also say Groom 125cc??? I've finally figured out why the three different prices for the X-Pro Vader on Amazon - different levels of assembly. The lowest priced bikes need the most added assembly by the buyer. Best to go through every nut and bolt and Loctite them all, I guess. It's annoying to have to do some assembly but at least you'll know that's it's been done right if you do it yourself. The three prices were $ 1,149, $ 1,299 and $ 1,700. That $ 1,700 was with free shipping, though.
Wish i could agree. I bought two of these and they fell apart literally at the welds in the first 3 months of very gentle use. The motor is a decent clone. Run something that looks like oil in it and this motor wont let you down. But literally everything else on this bike from the tires to the wire harness are worthless demanding and dangerous. The hardware is cheap surplus that gladly snaps without warning. The frame is so soft and the welds are so low quality that in spite of our attempts to over maintain by inspecting an torquing to spec literally every nut and bolt on the bike it obviously couldn't keep the welds from snapping off mid ride. I'm just addressing the particularly dangerous issues with this bike. This is without mention from day one both these bike broke down every 3 days. They both suffered from endless electrical issues. Mind your break lines by the way. I had to reroute mine to keep them from vibrating themselves to pieces. Unfortunately for potential buyers this may sound generic but it's easier just to say the whole bike is absolute garbage. To clarify if you buy this "bike" you should know you are buying a motor in a decorative package that looks like a motorcycle. I mean i guess the tire arn't that terrible.
Yea I understand where you coming from. We have 2 for almost a year and ride them daily. So far so good. Other than replacing some engine bolt mounts. It’s been reliable 🤙🏽. Thank for watching
Cut it out , if you were so proactive with the maintenance on your bike that wouldn’t have happened if you would have took care of all that before you started riding it, my homeboy bought one took it apart, sanded and rewelded all weldings repainted the frame and replaced all cheap china parts and it’s fkn Cherry AF, installed a Daytona 210cc engine and reinforced the frame so it doesn’t vibrate all crazy and he didn’t even spend the $5200 for a stock GROM out the door price at the dealership which is the best thing about the Vader compared to the GROM. 👌😉👌
@@freddieRODZ me too. I wasn't planning on forks but mine don't work at all they stay compressed. If yours are bad I can send a link to the forks I found for these seen a video they seem really good
buying one of these form Kronik Racing soon, I hope I'm making a wise choice, there's so damn many people selling them it's hard to know who to believe, or who to trust.
Why they keep calling it a clone you don’t call a Yamaha a kawasaki clone right? Is just a Corolla and a prizm back in the day they looked exactly the same one was made by Chevy and one by Toyota there’s Honda grom and a Jiangsu BaoDiao From China that’s their take on a grom style just like Kawasaki has one and Yamaha has one and no one calls them clones I have a baodiao boom Vader not a clone ❤❤
Everything I got is straight out the box. So yes. Fake mikuni. Jets whatever come in the box. I’m in Florida so elevation is low it runs great out the box.
4K miles now. Nothing major. Just little things every now and then. I’d only recommend if you want/like working on bikes. I wouldn’t recommend if this your only bike tho. 👌.
It's $1300 and it's been on pre order when did you place your order I've been try to buy one but not on pre order from the same web site. The engine can be replaced with a Honda. I have more parts then the bike coast right now I'm just waiting for the bike to be in stock. I'm calling mine the honda killer I'm going to put the same amount as a grom coast but it going to be twice the bike for the hater's I all ready have a zs190cc for it 👍👌✌️💯🏍️
@@freddieRODZ You can do that, spend around $300 for used forks and then buy the springs and adjustable dampening kit for another $200. Do all the nesasery disassembly and reassembley put in the right amount of fork oil or you could do what I've done and get a set of very nice high quality fully adjustable direct replacement forks from Aliexpress for a little over $200. There legit and with spring preload, compression and rebound adjustments and a bargain at that price. I've got a little over 3000mi on them, no leaks no probs.
Will this be reliable for long distances rides? Im deciding between this and the kymco spade 150. The bike will be use for long distace trip, and moto camping.
@freddieRODZ I thought about doing this, however I’m kinda skeptical I’ll get it at all lol. I placed my order April 1st but still haven’t received the bike.
@@smallboifunk1781 yes I did! And it came with the certificate of origin. I rode it 3 miles before modding it lmao. With stock carb and a cheap $30 slip on I could power wheelie in first. I then put a vm22 on there but it seems I have to tune it. All in all it’s a fun bike and im satisfied, although I’ll never order through them again since it took 3-4x as long as it should have
