Grom powered by a 2 stroke KTM EXC300 engine, first road ride.. We have a problem! Banshee slayer! 

Can’t wait for it to be sorted, much much better now since the fueling change but really needs a proper exhaust to get it running perfectly 😎

This is pretty typical for large bore 2 strokes. Go wide open, it'll smoke, and you'll hear it clear out and rip. Never understood why, but my 2013 300xcw has done it since new

Managed to resolve the issue with leaning the fuel mixture - the home made exhaust is not helping the smooth running at all 😅 Good news is it’s at Performance fabrications having a full system built as we speak so hopefully the next video will be 🔥🔥🔥

No reason to believe otherwise as only becomes an issue after 25% throttle regardless of rpm/ gear - hopefully the jetting sorts it

That’s exactly what it sounds like, checked and the choke switched on makes it a lot worse 😅

Let’s hope it’s something simple like that, fingers crossed the jets turn up early next week to confirm 👍

@Stone Automotive well i know it's not the same as its carbed but my track car had the exact same sound and issue. Felt like it was spitting under acceleration and that was a knackered injector.

It was actually running very rich due to the poor patched exhaust.. it’s currently at Performance fabrications have the custom system built as we speak 😬

Hopefully so, jetting kit should arrive next week fingers crossed 👍

@@stoneautomotive Did you get a chance to do a plug chop to see what the plugs look like? It's a better indicator than just pulling the plug after a ride. It sounds fat (rich). Good luck!
