He is a BIG boy! Great advice for people to train a horse properly from birth to eliminate these issues from the get go. I rarely have babies anymore, it's always grown rescue horses with issues. I have no intention of selling my own horses, but you never know what life will bring. I want mine to be well behaved as it greatly increases chances of a good forever home if I had to let them go.

wow you are tiny next to that horse, I really like the way you handle horses because as loving they can be they can also be dangerous, that is why I like that you treat them with love but very strict. I only have a 12 hh madam here and she is tiny compare to this one but Im sure she could kill me if she wanted to and I didnt pay attention. Ok, maybe not the best mind set to have when owning a pony, but we are both working on it!

Thank you so much, yes even respectful horses can hurt you by accident.

Great video. Why do you rub him with the crop?

Because he was very reactive to it, and I was going to use it to lead him at my shoulder. I wanted to lesson the risk of getting kicked if I tapped him to get him to go forward. so by rubbing him, making him realize I wasn't out to hurt him.
