That is interesting, recently tried the S-13s on the frog with the new script and they are vile. Should imagine the Zunis got a similar treatment.

@@ttpechon2535 Unless they've made improvements, the AI in DCS is pretty OP in certain respects. I think it might depend on the module in question, but even after v2.8 a lot of people complain that AI pilots retain ridiculous amounts of energy. I guess this is less about the pure "AI" and more due to a simplified flight model that the AI uses... but the effect experienced by the human pilots is the same.

@@Joemate23 I couldn't be sure because maybe you were just energy fighting but it's a whole different plane when you realise how the trim works. Anything over 6 bleeds speed pretty hard though!

And why didn't you nail him with your AIM-9s?

I cut throttle and used speed brakes, I couldn’t nail the second one with an aim 9 as he went behind a mountain and I only had aim9bs

@@Joemate23 You must have had a ton of overtake. A high-G barrel roll also helps dump speed in a hurry without throttling down. As for the -9Bs, I take your point. You'd have as much luck shooting him with your Zunis (which, by the way, is how an Israeli Skyhawk nailed a MiG).
