Just brilliant film with intriguing story line and great acting. They mixed Comedy, Drama, Romance and Fantasy perfectly. Bill Murray shines here. Andie MacDowell was impressive too. The whole cast was great. I miss the 90's so much! They don't make films like this anymore

Award shows like that aren't to reward good movies, they're just to entertain people and give out shinies to the highest bidder. The reward this movie got was far greater, it left a lasting mark on the world... People associate the term groundhog day with this movie more than they do the actual holiday, more people around the world actually know about it beyond just america and in one state...

A masterpiece! Murray, MacDowell, the waitress, whatever her name is... I've watched this scene dozens of times. It's up there with the chariot race in Ben Hur and the ballroom dancing scene in The King and I. Hollywood moviemaking magic at its finest!
