I really get how you feel when it comes to using your hair as a shield. My hair was my confidence and honestly cutting it all off gave me that kick I needed to change my life style and views on my self

Long hair is convenient but I have to say your pixie cut was amazing. AMAZING. i have a friend who says only real beautiful women can have short hair LOL and I think he is right!

It was really nice to see you acknowledge the small things that hurt a lot when you lose weight. I didn't suffer from an eating disorder but I basically barely ate for around six months for stress reasons. And the weight loss alone was shocking but the little things like hair loss hurt a lot. It makes me hopeful to see your hair is healthy again :) I'm gonna cut mine soon but luckily I like short hair (healthy hair is my favorite though)

I found out that I had cancer this year and impulsively chopped my hair too. I think it was a control thing and I didn't even lose hair from chemo. Then I felt like I was getting a mullet and tried to cut back and did it too short, then needed back buzzed. Now I am trying to grow it out.

I’m in the process of growing back my natural hair color! You’re inspiring me but god 2 yrs is a long time 😁 what to do.. need to be patient! Also I started using rice water, argan oil etc. the history of my hair is horrific! Now at the age of 28 I finally got smart and decided to start from zero! Hello sweet girl. You are truly brave to document all your life’s journey. Just wanted to say, i really think you look so beautiful with shorter hair. Your face’s shape totally fits it.

If you ever want to get a cut/ style but also want to be able to throw up in a ponytail, look into inverted a-line styles (I think that's what it's called) longer in the front and tapered off to the back. It allows to be able to still make a ponytail

being an inch or 2 shorter in the front is not a mullet and it was really cute honestly it just looks like some face framing. when pixies grow out people get so hung up on needing to even out the hair having it one length or shorter in the back. But my hair is getting to that "awkward" stage right now where the back is growing out and the fronts trying to play catch up and its starting to remind me of winona ryder in reality bites a hair cut that ive always loved and admired very 90s which is my style so im going with it and its becoming one of my favorite hairstyles ive ever had. I got a proper bob cut this January, since we Asians get pure black hair with frizzy texture, I got them straightened then got it dyed to copper blonde with coffee highlights(for the first time). It pretty looked good & there were guys crushing over me & my haircut xD till it was April I got influenced by Kristen Stewart's pixie cuts & pinterest models :) When I decided to go to the salon and got them chopped off on my wish without even letting my parents know about it. It's been just a week now & regret about it already:") , my parents are mad at me & I couldn't confront my dad since then. I spent some 5k on my entire bob look & my I chopped it off at one go within just 3 months *sigh 😔 Now I really wan my hair back and am looking for YT vdos as of how could I grow then longer , transformation videos, Brad reacting to haircut videos, blah & here I'm :) I totally love your video tbh , I hope I get my hair back real soon, * crying*.

8:30 - Its kind of sad that we do drastic things like chopping off our hair when we're depressed or frustrated. I've done it and then regretted it quite a few times. You just have to tell yourself you'll feel better soon and will be glad you didn't cut it.

I cut my hair like 3 days ago and I so regret it. Its strong and healthy but my hair flicks out soo much at the end bits. Luckily I'm not going to school for like a month because of covid. So hopefully it will grow fast. I don't put hardly anything in my hair except a little bit of colour

And if I were someone close to you maybe I'd advice you doing so haha! Although I also like how it turns out and you look great now also ;). And BTW that bob thing was ALSO REALLY GOOD! Seems that you just have the face to pull of multiple hairstyles, especially the more 'risky', shorter ones! XD

I also had EDs and waist length hair! Then I started bleaching my hair to go pink! Then I cut all my hair off to a bob because of the damage and having a mental breakdown lol it’s a small world I guess. I shaved all my hair off bald on January 27th 2021 and now it is the end of June. My hair is about 2.5 inches long and it’s going to the bulky mullet phase. It’s hard to style it and the top is just too bulky to look nice. I loved having a very short pixie and it is so tempting to just get it cut off again! I also keep wanting to dye it pretty colors but I think I should only bleach it if I’m keeping it short. 😬😬😬 I shaved my head because I thought it would be freeing and I guess it sort of was but it just isn’t wasn’t really worth it. I wish I would have just tried a pixie instead of going totally bald.

Lovely video... It sounds like altho u wasn't sure about ur pixi cut I think its done u really good.. Its pushed u to be out ur comfort zone when u had longhair to hide behind.. What an incredible journey and I’m so proud of you 👏🏻 I’ve been thinking to shave my head as well because my hair is naturally curly so I’ve been straightening it for the past five years and now my hair is very weak and it became a lot thinner. It was naturally very thick but these days whenever I wash my hair, I lose a lot lot of hair. I’m scared to wait a long time to get it to shoulder length. So please as someone who has went through this shaving hair process, can you please consider my situation and tell me if I should shave my head or just grow it out without shaving? My hair is my confidence. I always feel that it's the only thing that makes me 'pretty'. I never let anyone near it. It's down to my hips and had natural blonde highlights, golden overall. It's strange because I always wear my hair up in a bun so no-one actually knows that it is as long as it is. Honestly I don't think I could ever cut it. Trims I don't mind, but cut, no. You look so beautiful with short hair (you looked beautiful with long hair too). Seeing this video really sparked some confidence in me, maybe not enough for me to get the scissors out and go for it! But defiantly made me feel a lot happier with how I look. Thank you so much!
