I have had some questions recently about connecting multiple Growatts together, so thought I would make this vid public in case it was useful. I have since purchased a 4th battery and any balancing concerns I had with the batteries have been more than offset by the newly increased capacity.

Having rewatched this now and compared it to my actual installation, it all looks correct, though my short term memory problems made it an agonising process (Left? Right? Darn, which was it again? 😂). So you mentioned that your batteries weren’t charging in sync or balanced (which was it?). What was the cause of this, and is a hub needed?
How is the AC wired/paralleled in those sub boards? are each inverter outputs simply tied on the terminal strips(as shown in the manual) or do they all go through their own circuit breaker first, then combine to one main output breaker?
Thank you for the video, what are you thought on the growatt invertor you have used and the Nruit batteries are you happy? Did you manage to get the batteries running in parallel?
As I said in another reply this is an old video during bug fixing last year. I like the growatts I think the problem was that the three batteries were discharging at slightly different rates. I have since bought a 4th battery so I am now up to 36kWh of LFP batteries and have way more capacity than I need most of the time.
Hallo I saw what you are saying about the 4th battery, I noticed you are using a ethernet cable going from your can port on the inverter to your rj458 port on the battery. Have you tried moving your RJ458 cable from battery to your can port. Then it will be can to can connection.

you simply should connect all the DC output of the 3 batteries to one bus bar and each of the 3 inverters on the bus bar, that way you avoid different SOC on the 3 batteries. Are your 3 Growatt on one phase or on 3 Phase ? why You use Nruit Batteries? Are they cheap ?
You can see from the video that the DC output of the batteries are connected to 2 bus Bars - Red and Black for positive and negative. The inverters are connected to each other according to the user manual. The inverters are single phase. nRuit use CATL LFP cells and cost me ฿68,000 for each 9kWh shipped from China to Thailand. If you mean each inverter its own phase out, yes. I have such a setup at home. 3 inverters set up as 3phase parallel, inverter 1 is L1 inverter2 L2 inverter3 L3 and the 'utility' ac input is similar, I have ac in L1 to inverter1 L2 to 2 and L3 to 3. my set up is 3phase 208v and that seems to work just fine.
@@wcoekaer hi thanks for the video , i just purchased 2 units of Growatt 5000tl hvm-wpv and i unable to get the 3rd for months . i was wondering can use Growatt 5000ES to parallel for 3 phase . If not i need to purchase additional 3 nos of inverter . I am not an electricians and i had almost complete all my wiring and power up , just that i yet to power up output from inverter . L1 , L2 & L3 OUTPUT wil be R,Y,B to the distribution board . So all neutral will connect all together right ? thanks for your advise
