I need to get a tray and some rapid rooters, it is a nice method of starting seeds. Also, it may work better for plants that are discouraging to start in AeroGardens like beans, spinach, and more.

Nice video. I was researching buying a Lettuce Grow vs other systems for the first time and found this video. You are very well organized and I really like the method you have for starting your own seedling in addition to the heads-up about bugs coming with the pods you might get from the vendors. My question is do you think Lettuce Grow is a good system to start with. I'm thinking about putting it in the kitchen. I see you have more videos and will watch some of them also.

Hii I loved the video and subscribed ! I was curious if you had a good alternative to the tray that goes inside on the lettuce grow sleeves. My aunt gave me a lettuce grow but it didn’t have the little plastic sleeves that are typically on there.

Great info and I also use the little 12 pod seed starters for my NFT systems. I cannot find the PDF log templates for them you mentioned in this video - I found all the ones for Aerogarden, but not the Amazon 12 hole seed starter pods - I might be blind - help !!

@littletechgirl2 have you or anyone tried tomatillos? Would I keep all tomato family in one tower? or does this change if mixed in the dynamics of seeds used?

I would not grow tomatillos in a Lettuce Grow. They get wild and huge. I grow them in my outdoor garden in soil.

Oh and you can definitely mix plants in the tower. No worries there.

I bought nursery plants a box for $25, lettuce grow seedings were $105 for 24, I am going to clean them out and use the root system and I bought the foams you suggested. Do I need any soil in those I thought a good rinse is just fine with a root system in place? I keep seeing people use clay beads but I didn't want to put those in the lettuce grow with the root.

@@validusvita5908 Never ever ever ever put loose soil in your Lettuce Grow. The clay pebbles are a great option. Or you can use root riot, or rapid rooter plugs or similar. Or just a hydroponic sponge. And no, no book. Lol! However, you can join my Facebook group which is pinned in the comment above. Lots of help and tips there. :)
