Hi, my name is Corrianne I'm 11 years old and from Jamaica, Montego Bay. I have 4c hair, everyone has always told me that I have coarse hair, that my hair is dehydrated and much more. But then my stepmother told me the opposite of what they had been telling me. She told me that my hair has suffered a lot since I was a baby and that they have been using the wrong things In my hair. The hairdressers had me hatting my hair and saying that I was cursed, and from all the damage my hair has been through my scalp has become very tender. They had been using the VO2 hair shampoo and conditioner and the TRESemme' shampoo and conditioner. My hair has a lot of shrinkage, heat damage, and split ends, and on top of that it's not like my hair is short it's long. As a child, I just want natural, healthy hair, long and soft hair that I can wear out. I hope you read this thank you.😁

Hello Corrianne, those brands of hair product could actually work for your hair. When you think about looking after your hair, remember that it requires cleansing (shampoo), moisuriser (conditioner) , LOVE and CARE. Don't worry about the brands used on your hair unless you notice that they are damaging your hair. Focus on the routine and how you handle it (with patience, love and care) and your hair with thrive.

Am I the only person here who derives this weird satisfaction from seeing how organized her hair tools are?!! Girl….. 🥰🥰❤️. Also, I need to plug Nigerian food, especially the soups because they changed my life. I married a Nigerian man and started cooking Nigerian food as a result.. turns out the soups are almost completely farm to table and I lost over 80 lbs just from that lifestyle change. I don’t exercise regularly but my lifestyle is pretty active… I’m running around after kids. Never been healthier in my life ❤.

I am a new subbie taking my natural hair more seriously. I'm so very proud of it. But I love how you romanticized your hair routine. OGX is seriously a hidden gem for us y’all look into their collections I’m currently using the coconut 🥥 one absolutely love and there argan oil and Morocco creamy hair butter!! Such a beautiful and wonderful sealer ever since I started wearing u-part wigs and if I’m not going anywhere of course keep ya durag/bonnet on honey it promotes and captures the heat from your scalp and your hair is going to grow crazy.
