Oh that is just wonderful! I still miss the baby robin I took in Memorial Day weekend back in 2007 who apparently fell out of his nest and wandered around till he go to my stairwell. I saw him on the lower stairs, was on my way to Church so I just walked on, and when I got back he'd worked his way almost up to my door. My heart went out to him instantly! He tried to get away when I captured him into a foot tub, but I gained his trust very quickly. I loved those 2 days together.
They grow so fast! You have adorable birds here and they are so well taken care of! I don't see how people think baby birds are ugly...I think there little pin feather covered bodies with the starts of down is just too cute!
I just couldn't be more obsessed with this, we're raising 3 little ones right now! they are 18, 19 and 21 days! wing fathers coming in! actually, more accurately the parents are feeding and raising them and we're playing with them for a while each day in the hope of tameness without hurting them with our inexperience of handfeeding! Thanks so much for an idea of whats to come in the next few weeks!X
My lovies just became parents this weekend. The last of 4 eggs just hatched earlier today sometime between noon and 3pm. Mom is a good mom, very attentive and protective of her babies. Poppa is too. On top of all that, poppa bird perched on my finger for the first time ever. We're making strides in our short relationship. Just got them about 3 months ago.
Thanks for the video. My family wants to get a bird and we were suggested a Love Bird. How precious they are when so young. Great Song too..God Bless and thanks for posting the video.

I have a question it would be really helpfull if you could answer. My question is that my friend's lovebirds had 3 eggs and hes giving me 1. How long should i wait after they hatch to take them away from the mother?
hihi... i have a Q: why doesnt my lovebird incubate/sit on the egg when its only the first few days until it reached the 4th or 5th eggs? among all the eggs only 1 survive? Yesterday she laid an egg but she "ignore" it. wud you suggest i incubate it myself or let them handle it? im just afraid if it took them dat long to sit on it, it might not make it. PLEASE HELP ME SO I HAVE A PEACE AT MIND. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION. =)
I've bought recently a baby lovebird of 6weeks, but my other lovebird of 4months keeps humping her... What should i do?. He gets grazy when i put him in the cage. He gets so protective when i want to grab the baby lovebird, He also brushes her feathers.
I had a similar problem, one of my lovebirds was really young. I don't know what you can do to prevent that, maybe separate them. If they breed too young, they don't know how to take care of their offspring as well.
Aww my lovebird's baby is today 10 days old and he(she) is opening his(her) eyes! This is the first time my birdies have babies. :3 I made some videos when he was 1 day old and one week old. :) I wish I could know the colours of him. His mom is red and light green and dad is red, yellow and green. Guess he will turn red and green aswell, right? Anyway, whats the name of the song? I love it really much. :D ~ * Loverbird Lover! * ~

if the mother bird is agressive would that make the baby birds agressive as well? ALSO we touched my birds babies, we found the baby bird dead, we still dont know but we think the mother did it, is it possible for a mother bird to kill her own babies if you touch them? ~Thanks
