This video is the growth rate of the ensete maurelii over 1-2 years and how I over winter them in the UK.
I know its abit early because I would of waited a bit closer to our first frost date, but as I cant do much because of my back I've had to get my dad to help so have done it earlier.

Cheers mate. I would of loved to do a more in depth video of the actual over wintering part, but as you know limited movement and my dad didn't want to be on camers. Hopefully I made the video clear enough for people to understand.

If they are only 1 year old I over winter them in my garage or back door in kitchnen. Just keep watering them every now and then. I keep mine in my garage with lights over. But I try and keep my garage at 10°C

Sorry, I couldn't understand what you said to spray them with when you bring them inside? What did you recommend? Cheers great video I'll be doing this with mine this week

Hi Jack. I make a solution of neem oil and castile soap. I buy these on amazon. I will make a video over the next few days.
