U never talk about how shredder makes you need less workers for lumber, thus keeping your upkeep low. Plus suiciding ur wisps tons helped. The only thing guaranteed even to wisps in life is "death and taxes"

If it were u playing against yourself, it would of never got to the point where NE had 5 mountain giants, you either would of lost or won around the time NE achieved 2-3

Similar to what you're saying, I think it's funny that Humans don't have human spellcasters, except the hero Archmage. If you're a human the only way to cast spells is to go 0 to 100 archmage, there's no in-between (like apprentice or whatever) xD

Panerakis im a bit inexperienced, but dryad poison is very low dps, and kills are much more important, the major benefits are the move slow, and the disengage damage you can do on a army that needs to recover

The damage is not that important, slow is good if chasing single targets

@@nikola12nisMy guess is that since Dark Wizard is a level 8 creep, he is casting Polymorph as a level 8 spell, and any spell level 6 and up bypasses Spell Immunity.

gryphons against giants :D he can make them spell/magic immune with an upgrade and they arent heavy armour. it was hard to counter, maybe knights or something to harras.

if you have over 50 supply you get somthing called "low upkeep" which is essentially a 30% reduction on all gold income, if your above 80 supply that gets increased to a 60% reduction because of that you want to try stay below 50 for as long as you can to build up gold for a big army push and to buy your upgrades while you "effectivly" cheeper if you rush for a higher supply you basicaly have to either win the game right then with your army advantage or your gonna start falling behind money/tech wise pretty fast and get outpaced so players will sit at 50 until RIGHT before they do a big push where they will quickly pop up to 60-70 then push, if the push wins they win, if it doesnt enough units will have been lost to put them back to 50 again and they can try again later

WC3 also has higher supply costs with a lower maximum supply compared to SC. StarCraft has a lot of basic units costing 1 or 2 supply with a maximum of 200. WC3 has a maximum of 90 supply (100 in the Frozen Throne expansion). Most tier 1 units are 2 supply, with Orc Grunts costing 3 supply. Late game ground units, most siege engines, and most fliers are 4 supply. Heroes by themselves cost 5 supply. Frost Wyrms and Mountain Giants cost a whopping 7 supply. The most anything costs in SCII is the Mothership (8 supply and a limit of 1 at a time), followed by Thors/Collossi/Ultralisks/Carriers/Battle Cruisers at 6. So a Protoss player could build 1 Mothership and 32 Carriers before capping out. Even if Grubby saved up a bunch of resources and then built nothing but Mountain Giants in this game with no heroes or workers, he'd only have 14 MGs before maxing out.

@@gregsmw I see, so the strategy would be to have "no upkeep" and a low amount of units. And only when opponent attacks the base then to increase to "low/high upkeep" ? A bit risky I would say.

bulldogisback the risk is mitigated by the length of fights, and the time it takes to get to higher supply counts, you will sometimes hear grubby mention when he identifies an opponent has broken into upkeep
