@@rylog8 So god had no kingdom before man?. Why did he wanted or needed one if he was perfection already?. Why would anyone who is all love make pieces of the so called "kingdom" that he knew were gonna have to endure eternal suffering... he bad or good then?, you should be asking yourself at this point. Imagine yourself making a little cage for little mice, you only put two doors on it and plan ahead that the mice which go into the left door will burn alive, but the ones that go into the right door get a piece of cheese. You would be immoral since you already knew lots of mice should find excruciating suffering. The god that people of antique made for you is immoral... it was designed to scare people from stealing the cattle of the rich and draw others as inferior, like slaves and all the others with the "wrong" god.

My daughter sent me grisly photos of her knee surgery (she knows I'm not squeamish), and they were horribly bloody with exposed bone and cartilage. Ban knee surgery!

How embarrassing to have reached his age and failed to obtain a proper education. Do we blame his parents for not caring enough to help educate him? Do we blame the educational system for not caring enough to insure he learned knowledge? Do we blame him for not wanting to do the work of increase his education? Or, do we blame the conmen for tricking him into believing lies?
Yeah, I'm sure we all understand that careers 'happen'. Things come up, some new administrator changes things, some new philosophy comes into vogue and requires attention. We thank you for the time you are able to give to these videos. Regarding 'cause & effect', the obvious issue is "So God took the time to break up those rocks in my garden over the past few years? And here I thought it was the freeze/ thaw cycle that occurs in my area." By 'cause', these sort of folks just want to say 'God did it...".

Good luck, PZ, but did you really say that it's a "promotion" to become a committee chair? (You shouldn't have fallen for that!) I am spending my next academic year teaching calculus courses I've taught before. It'll be my last year before retirement and should be easy - but legislative meddling has wiped out most opportunities for remediation in mathematics and I might be getting students with insufficient preparation. Oy!
@@PZMyersBiology Whoa! It reminds me of when my community college decided to label the faculty as "professors" instead of "instructors." We got a title upgrade in lieu of a pay raise.

I recently discovered that the words "destroy a c......y" (the latter being a geographical and political location where people live - one of 195), no matter in what context, causes a post to vanish from public view (but you can still see it). This is really slimy.
