Outstanding! I remember my call to my wife after getting down safely in a similar engine out event and then half way throught my call to her saying "DARN!" She said what? I said I just realized that the insurance is useless because I landed safely and now I need to buy a new engine!
@@GrummanPilots I believe in your case, the Oil Sump has the Data plate mounted on the side and if that is good, you can buy a case and everything else NEW. When I attended Lycoming Factory Training back in 1993, I remember discussing Factory REMANS, where the only old part used was the data plate.
