So, after some trial, the Churchill card is one of my favorite aspects of this deck. I know they don't have HE, but I actually view that as a positive because they never change their facings away from armored threats, and they have a MASSIVE 12/min rate of fire which is amazing compared to the 3 from an IS-2. Any time an IS-2 misses it's devastating, so to cover that weakness the rapid fire nature of the Churchill gets double the shots downrange compared to T-34s or KV-1S's. They are a little slow, but they put in a lot of work against swarms of enemy tanks downrange, I feel they are an excellent addition to the deck for general anti-vehicle work. I'm still trying to work out whether I think the +vet from a support leader is worth it in this deck, it's really only buffing the tanks, but that is a big help. It's just a shame that it's so limited on command options, anyone find that the VZVOD arty leader is worth trading 2 slots elsewhere? Also, anyone else notice that they had turret traverse speeds for most tanks in SD2 until the new unit card info change? I like having specifics for each gun I guess, but I also like knowing if I have a power turret or a hand crank, cause laying the gun on target quickly tends to be kind of important.

I think another great alternative to Gruppa Vyborg would be the new V for Victory deployment type. A stronk Stalinium push in Phase A with a late game breakthrough seems to fit well

I'm pretty sure that T-26E had something like 40 mm worth of frontal armor with its screans,at least I read it at tank encyclopedia.

I've been playing this with double IS-2 in opening which is pretty lol. I shoved the commander into phase B with reinforcement IS2s, I also use KV-1S to support the infantry, the only bit I can't decide on is the leader T-34s and whether they're worth it.

I made a edit for a jug build, using your template as example. Features 20 IS-2's, 4 Andryusha's, 9 Shturmoviki's, 8 PE-2-83's and 4 Zen. Art. 85mm obr. 44's with the 5000 supply trucks all in phase C. At the cost of ridding of T-26E in phase A and No supply in A. You are forgoing a lot of early and mid game power by moving IS-2 card from A-B to C and AndRy from B to C. No bombers in B. You are going to struggle fighting armor at long range till C. You'll need allie with early AA and Early-Mid tanks. Pref with supply, leadership early. It's imperative you have someone with a strong Airforce. Long range AT. Artillerist would be better if they had access to the same vehicles as the dozor squads... why not? They're both a 2 man squad.

im gonna disagree with you on the Churchill .. i think in phase A it can clean up the house of all armored vehicles it will normally face. reason is the very high rate of fire and the accuracy seems to be on of the highest up there. i would hapilly trade that for one of the T-26 and take the KV komoroti for leadership. That said i might opt to swap the KV-1S instead of the T34 - for 5 more points a pop you get way more value for money. But time will tell, i honestly expect them to re-ballance all of these new divisions as they are quite frankly OP in its present form

Looks like a fun mix off realy cheap light tanks with IS-2's. But that infantery.... Holy moly thats the worst inf I think any division has. Not even enough strelki cards to have 1 in each phase . I assume its something they will fix, otherwise I dont think I will ever realy play this over the other Soviet armored decks that have IS-2 tanks.
