I think the ape thing is because of uncanny valley type phenomenon with the CGI. I think they're terrifying too, so that doesn't help. lol

PERFECT description of The Fall Guy!!! The preview did not do it justice! It's such an enjoyable movie! Went with low expectations and came out flummoxed at much fun i had. We saw The Fall Guy and loved it! I went expecting to hate it because I thought it would be cheesy. I thought both Emily and Ryan were amazing and appealing. Not cheesy AT ALL. And fabulous references to other movies including a cameo by Lee Majors during the ending credits that most of the audience didn't get. Highly recommend.

I love the movie "Signs" I used to make a reference to the movie when my now adult children used to leave glasses or bottles of half drunk water everywhere they had sat in the house , I looked like a crazy person when I'd say what is this the set of signs , no one had a clue what I was on about 😂

Hi Charlotte I saw Back to Black and really enjoyed it. I did love (& still do) her music, but tbh I didn't follow what was happening to her in real life at the time. So it was more of an eye opener to me and it made me feel very sad about her death. Had she stuck to her guns and not used the hard drugs, she would most likely be here today. A real tragedy all round, but very well acted and portrayed I thought. And I like that the ending was a 'fade to black' and some words stating what happened, rather than a visual version. Very dignified. Very well done I thought.

My life changing film was Fox and the Hound, went with my kindergarten class to the cinema. When it came to THAT scene, I freaked and started crying. Couldn’t stop. I ran out and refused to go back in. My classmates was upset and angry. One boy looked at me with the most irritated angry look but changed when he saw my big tears dropping and the huffing that comes after crying. I felt so bad and ashamed before because I knew I was the reason. But it felt really comforting to see him change his feelings. What Dreams May Come. And Awakenings. Ooh you should do a video of Life Changing Films!

I went green eye-look today but I used my Danessa Myricks Lightwork V palette AND my 54yr old lids could be seen from space!!! A bit OTT but I couldn't care less (actually I was too lazy to try and tone it down) .. so I spent the day with space alien eyes blinding people who dared to look at me directly ... a good day all round ... I will probably be in the bathroom for 4hrs later trying to take it off BUT I do LOVE a sparkle 🤣🤩

Charlotte you’re my fave RU-vidr and this has become my favourite series. My favourite pastime is watching movies and am so here for this. Here’s my two cents worth. The Fall Guy is high on my list, in fact I took my friend to the movies to watch Civil War but this was my second time watching it and really didn’t want to see it again although it was amazing. I really had 24:38 hoped she would choose the fall guy instead but hey ho, might be our next family film instead! Planet of the Apes: My husband , daughter and I binge watched the 3 newest ones prior to seeing this. We all loved them, and I cried. I really got into it. This latest planet of the apes, it was okay, but I was a little disappointed. And my daughter and husband both fell asleep! Am so looking forward to the new movies on the horizon esp Twister and A Quiet Place day 1!

I absolutely loved The Fall Guy! It was so much fun and I can't wait to watch it again! I love pretty much everything that includes Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt. edited to add: I also so the original The Strangers movie in the theatre on a double date in *checks notes* college (!). Of course, we went at night, it was really late when the movie let out and it was raining on the way home. I slept with the light on that night... I'm a little disappointed that the new one isn't a prequel/origin story! I can't believe they just recycled the original plot...

Charlotte, I totally get you. I have always been freaked out by Planet of the Apes films. There’s something which really disturbs me about the apes and I will not watch them. I’m mid 50’s so grew up with them showing the original films on TV and I just can’t watch! I love going to see real apes in the zoo, seeing them in nature documentaries and loved the Clint Eastwood films with his pet ape (orangutan?) You are not alone.

Wow, Twisters! Finally like 30 years later! I liked the first one with Helen Hunt so hopefully the new one will be good. Sometimes sequels can go either way! With the Planet of the Apes I’ve seen the newer movies not the older ones. I liked them but I don’t really want to see the new one unless it comes to Netflix or something. However, I do want to see The Strangers and The Fall Guy.

This dates me, but the Fall Guy movie is based on the TV show of the same name from the early 80's. It was a hit show, I remember having toys based on it. lol. I bet there are episodes on YT. the theme song is cheeeeeeseeeyyy.

Love this series! Oh, yes, Signs was great and underrated as was The Village. But the best movie I have seen in years was not at the theatre, it was on Prime Video called The Idea of You. It was so good with Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine that I watched it 4 times! Really different than you would expect and a great story!

You inspired me to take out an Odeon limitless membership as I always felt like local Odeon was too far away but turns out it's only an extra 10 minute drive. Went to see Planet of the Apes yesterday and i loved it but I do think it's beneficial to have seen the previous films in the franchise to see how they got to the situation they are in.

Hi Charlotte, your makeup looks lovely. I've not seen the new plant of the apes movie so I might not like them. I have seen all the p.o.t.a. movies since I was a child and Im 62 and I've loved them all ❤. The first one was in the mid seventies and I cried so hard when Rodie McDowell ( I think that's his name) character dies I bawled my eyes out. They've all been great, and I've even seen the t.v. show which was canceled to soon. I love the good apes and I'm freaked out by the mean apes. I'm going to see it with my family this week. I had been waiting watching trying every possible place for months to find the last film I watched I couldn't wait, then I paid for it the minute it hit my TV, it was Priscilla as in Presley, what a utter load of rubbish that was on the other hand iv recently seen the trailer for the new Loin King OMG I was balling my eyes out so my 2 grandaughters will dragged along to the cinema the minute it hits whether they want to go or not lol Good reviews Charlotte but I'm very sad you couldn't relate with those poor chimps how rude of you 😂😂😂❤❤

Being an animal lover, I love my furbaby, Dobi he’s a Sheltie, I cannot see any movies about dogs, I will cry if the movie ends badly, I just can’t. My sister who is 74 has dementia/Alzheime’s and she has always loved Godzilla movies and she can name all the monsters in them. I took her to see the new Godzilla/King Kong movie and I think it’s the best one yet. I took her on Mother’s Day, yes after the movie we were clapping, all 12 of us.🤣🤣. Taking her to see the Planet of the Apes cause we’re weird and we’ve watched them all, we grew up watching them. ❤❤ I’m 70 and still till this day I cannot watch scary movies especially having to do with demons.
