Hi Charlotte! I am new to your channel and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you mentioning the cost of make up and whether it’s actually worth spending if you’re in a position where you need to budget. Watch the video just uploaded by Patty Alonso. She has identified there are several repeat shades from the original discontinued Gold palette, which I actually have, so might not be worth buying for anyone who still has that palette. Patty has done a bunch of swatches of the apparent repeated shades.

I always thought I disliked powder foundations as well, until I found the right ones. Since I'm a woman in her 60s with quite a few "expression lines," I've quickly learned that well-applied powder foundation particularly to the aforementioned lines prevents settling and creasing of regular liquid foundations. Try it again someday pressed onto the skin with a light hand and see if you don't change your mind. Here in the USA, I've found good results with Makeup Forever and Jane Iredale powder foundations.

Hi Charlotte. As a newly minted, I don't look 56 year old, I was surprised that none of the sweet kiddie notes showed up on my skin with Kayali. It is closer to the Silk Santal than I expected with a hint of bubblegum that left pretty quick. Her fragrances have to macerate a bit. Try it if you see it:) Love the hair color, btw!

So, having watched your video I went to my Lancôme lady in boots and asked about the bronzer. They’d only just had them come in and weren’t out in store yet. However she used the Light Medium tester on me, it looked gorgeous, so I was able to be the first one to buy! Love your videos! At 56 I’m really getting into make up as I have never done before and your videos really help!

Definitely want the Gold pallet!!! Looks perfect for the summer autumn seasons. I'm with you, yellow gold is not my friend. Where I do differ is I like the gloss more than the face palette, but yes, I am most certainly waiting for swatches and reviews.

Oh dear, the Natasha Denona palette looks gorgeous! But I am curious to see swatches. It appears to have shimmers that are a little darker than I would love. I like my shimmers to be light, at least lighter than the mattes. In the photo the shimmers look overall a bit dark for my preference. Maybe that will appear different with swatches. But it looks beautiful!

The new ND palette has a total of 8 repeat shades from the OG gold palette ❤ I still have mine & I just looked at all the repeat shades 😅 am I still getting the new one ?! 🤔 ABSOLUTELY YES ! 😆 the gold palette is still an all time fave !!! And if she’s improved those shimmers !!! 🤩🤯😳 it’s def going to be mine ! I don’t even care about the repeats …. & many slept on the gold palette & it was her full sized palette ($129) … so I’m very happy to see her kinda remix the gold palette & make it a midi size so that most can get their hands on it ❤🎉😉

Lancôme highlighters oh boy…. The packaging alone.❤ I DO believe I need that ❤ the shades are so so pretty…. The gold embossing of the packaging is so so pretty.. And I did just get $100 gift certificate for Mother’s Day for Sephora (damn I don’t think they sell Lancome. I’m pretty sure they don’t.) does it matter that Sephora gift certificate is certainly not going to waste.

I cannot wait for the Natasha Denona Golden palette! I only own 2 minis because I’ve never found a palette that I will actually use more than 2-3 shades, but THIS ONE is all mine! I’m praying it doesn’t sell out in 2 minutes. Someone has already confirmed by the leak that 3-4 of the shades are duplicates (even shade name) from the Gold palette, which I don’t have. I also just bought the new Dolce&Gabana bronzer from Saks and I can’t wait to get it!

I picked up the Hourglass bronzer palette and I love it, but I fly through my Hourglass single bronzers and finishing powders, so it was worth it to me. That Natasha Denona palette is going to be really hard to resist.

I agree with you about skin care in foundation/face products. I also have an issue with sunscreen in these products because you cannot put on enough to actually get the benefits of the sunscreen. BiTerry seems to have the same shade range as Youth Foria. I LOVE your videos and sense of humor. I think all of us should not support companies who aren't inclusive. It seems idiotic that some companies still don't see that.

Also remember that it is really expensive to develop and produce a foundation in many shades, only large or rich brands are able to do it. It is not always bad will and by terry is a very small brand.

Charlotte! I got the travel spray of the new Kayali "Vanilla Rock Candy" fragrance & it is sweet, but it is not too young/ cheap smelling, at all! It definitely reads as a fragrance/ perfume, not 'tween candy'. The pear & woodsy notes really come through. I'm surprised how much I'm enjoying it, tbh.

I agree with you with Natasha Denona, I’m hoping it’s not too yellow. If it is I don’t think I’ll get it. Yellows look horrendous on me unfortunately.

Yes, I wanted the hourglass palette but passed because I want the bronzer in it, too... i love your idea of a "fair" and "dark" palette you suggested before!

I tried to Rock Vanilla candy yesterday and it was nice but stained my arm YELLOW. So hard pass. I looked like a bruise victim with a hint of jaundice.
