Wow, the Gryphon amps have always been mindblowing, this is beyound never never land of insanely cool 😎 I reckon it brings with you an instant platinum customer level agreement with the local electricity service provider too 🤣 Well done guys 😍
I have the Colloseum power amp and the Mirage preamp they are wonderful products to own and listen to I enjoy them every day so its good to see that Gryphon keep pushing the boundaries to explore what's possible in two channel HiFi they are one of the finest audio Companies in the World today and they quietly get on with the job in hand
Exceptional.... of course the Apex and Commander should be ridiculously over engineered.. and I'm certain it is... For those fortunate people, is there a better choice?.. I doubt it. 🇩🇰👌🏻
My Diablo 300 hasn't long returned from the factory after having a repair done, it's still boxed up due to my house sale. The repair department that is basically Niels is second to none. I also have the VIP reference speaker cable, its a spectacular component in itself. I have also owned the 250 Diablo. I'm happy with my Diablo 300 and won't be aspiring after more
@@henriksrensen3220 my loudspeakers zingali 1.2 evo have a fairly high sensitivity 95db, apparently the 120 sounds better than the 300 with them. The fault on my unit was that it would freeze whilst switched on, the vfd would display a funny readout and you wouldn't be able to alter the volume or change input. Switching off at the main on/off swich would reset it and then continue to operate properly. Also the display would not show infrequently when adjusting the volume. For repair they replaced the vfd with a new one and also replaced the complete front board.
If one looks closer to the internal photo of Apex power amps in the video, there are a lot of scraped paints in the heat sink. Maybe because it is a demo unit. But for such expensive product, one should not expect that kind of finish.
Such ultra high end products should be perfection in every way. When I got my Boulder 2150 and 2110 they arrived my place perfectly from the factory. I love them, I don't think I have to replace them for years to come.
I was looking at these, but I found out it would cost me an additional $3.5 million to have DTE install a substation to provide sufficient power to the Gryphons. Apparently my 200 amp panel is not up to the task. ;-)
lol I hope you're super rich otherwise paying that much for an amplifier that no doubt sounds indistinguishable from one costing 20x less is shall we say, puzzling 😆
more than 1 farad capacitance on the apex ,i do not think there is another amp with that kind of control i would love to hear that apex it should be fenomenal ......
