These longer rebuild videos are sooooo good, because you are showing every detail that many video creators would just skip over for the sake of a shorter video. Also love that you show the struggles of working on old cars with rusty, uncooperative parts. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks. I purchased a well preserved gold 81 RX-7 from the original owner more than a dozen years ago. Since most of the suspension parts are probably original, my guess is I'm overdue for springs and shocks. After watching your fine video it looks likely I'll need to replace a lot more than that.

Rock auto is great! You just need to be careful om these older cars. There are a few parts ive ordered that were listed incorrectly. Awesome!! Im glad they're helpful! You should post some videos as well!! 😎👍

Thanks again for another video. I am looking forward to seeing what struts and springs you use. My only request is that you show in real time the assembly of at least one of the struts, mainly the sequence of the washers and parts at the top. Also, if you ordered the Rock Auto top strut munts, know that you will lose the ability to adjust the small amount of camber and caster of the factory type mounts. I am finding that all the aftermarket types are "symmetrical" and don't have the offset like the factory ones. See you on the next video, bro.

Thanks for watching! I will do my best to explain it all as I move along. I did buy the rock auto top mounts. They do have slight adjustment for camber which I hope to showcase as well. I didnt realize this was a 'thing' until i had a subscriber tell me this! As we speak I am editing the video 😎👍

Unfortunately I've got some bad news.. the camera had seemed to have fallen a little when i was assembling the struts and it doesn't show the assembly of the upper mounts.. I do hope the video does help you though in some way or another :)

No worries. I got it done. Is just one of those things I did wrong once and I have seen others some wrong also before. So I figured you could post it for posterity. LOL

Thanks for watching! The link was refurbished from the parts car and not purchased. In a previous video youll see where I had ground off the rust and repainted this piece 👌
