@@RustedandBusted Just to let you know that I have put a new Street Ported Engine and header with custom exhaust, less than 14,000 miles on it. Has a Oil Cooler and Engine Tork Brace from Racing Beat. Removable Glass Top, 10 mm magna core spark plug wires. Sony CD, New Front windshield and Dashboard. Rear and side window Louvers. But, I went to re-new my Driver's license here in Florida and was told to Show a Birth certificate and I lost mine. So after 44 years of being a Safe Driver and 3 different forms of I.D I had on me, they still need to See the B.Cert. So I parked the car in my driveway and I start it once a week. And I turned in my tag. I'm 60 retired with Publix super market 4 block's away. So I bought the Voyager pro electric bike, and I love it. Charge and go. Well, long story short, I'm getting my Birth certificate and I decided to SELL my 83 Rx7 gsl. So if you're interested let me know. I like saving $150.00 a month, Not paying Car Insurance. Ha ha ha. Here's my number 561 234 9878. Virginia department of health says it will be 12 weeks before I will get a copy of my B.C. Take it easy.

Hey! The only place that I can think of that would sell you the whole strut assembly would be techno toy tuning. They sell complete struts with coilovers installed. You may be hard pressed to find a used one perhaps but there are still lots of parts cars around in sure. Just keep in mind the year differences and trims that have different assemblies offered. The 82 GS I had came with small axles and small spindles where I wanted to switch to the GSLSE version which gave me bigger axles and bigger spindles.. the parts don't interchange and the shocks in them are not the same either. 👌

It took me two years to find one unfortunately. There are parts cars scattered somewhere.. Just keep cruising country roads and you may just find one on the side of the road. Unfortunately they are hard to find 😒

Hey Rusty! Thanks so much for the positive feedback! I am hoping to do a completion video and one on what is to come. I want to make these videos as real as possible and showcase the work that needs to go into something like this and really just do my own thing 😊. The definite plan for the car has not beed determined at this time as there is still so much to do. It does have the original 12A with 220K kilometers on both the body and the engine. My plan is to upgrade the engine and gain a few more ponies. Id really love to have this car just rip. I love it as is and really want to not take away from the charm of what is already there. So many possibilities and not enough money lol! There is no reason to change it currently as i feel it runs well. Im not an expert on rotary engines by any means and that is what got me excited about this build. Also pop up headlights sre pretty cool 😉 I will absolutely check out your channel tonight and give some feedback for my personal taste. I have a strong photography background if 8yrs and really love equipment and gadgets but you really dont need any of that to make great videos. Mine are by far not the best on RU-vid. Theyre just what I like and how i want to showcase the work. I do the majority of it alone so its really tough capturing everything. Thanks brother 👍 To be honest i couldnt tell you. I just jad a wheel alignment done and they had changed them for me. I believe the drivers favors castor to the front and opposite for the pass side.

Hey! I basically just matched both front mounts to allow more camber in at the top. The alignment shop made an ajust ment when i brought it to them so im not 100% sure if i had it correct from the get go. You will see from the top of the strut housing that the strut mount it self is not perfectly centered and you can spin it in either direction to make a slight adjustment either front to back or in or out.

Not a whole lot locally here to Ontario Canada but online there are loads of parts still in circulation and some aftermarket support as well!

Thanks for watching!! They are KYB tubes from racingbeat.com. the only difference I had found between the SE and GS tubes were the dampening rate as the actual physical size was identical. Also, i kept the 12A from the GS in the car I had opted to get the GS option instead of the SE as they are a bit more expensive. 👌 Hope this helps!

@acruz40d correct, you can't add too much otherwise it won't seat to the bottom properly. I basically put on a glove and poured fluid all over the shock before sticking it into the strut attached to the spindle. The shock came pre charged itself 😎✌️ there isn't much clearance there so you can't put too much fluid between the shock and strut.

Thank you kind sir. They are 1990 miata ebay specials. Coilover spring and adjuster. A whopping 50$ CAD for a set of 4. They don't fit in the rear so the rear got cut and i have a spare set for the front 😉👍

@@RustedandBusted lol it works, you didn't weld the perches on either just sit the adjusters on the existing perches? Do the rattle? Did you go with a different strut cartridge or stocker?

@@MrSchnarr oh she rattles quite a bit for now.. i need to find a way to secure them a little better. They are just sitting in stock perches for now but alot of the rattle may go away with a weld on kit. I bought MR2 shocks but they dont fit the upper stock mounts unfortunately.. they are just 2 thou off from stock diameter on the shaft so i bought a set of SE Kybs new from rscing bewt which cost me about 175USD shipped to my door in Canada... plan would be to find an FC in terrible shape and do this all over again with an updated setup 👍

Custom made Miata front coilover setup. Not very complicated to do actually. The video should show you how its assembled 👍 the majority of the pieces are from the stock FB

The Robster could you link the parts for the coilover setup I want to do a similar setup on my fb

@@elmoojo2170 I dont have the link handy anymore but any first gen miata ebay coilover set with the springs and sleeves will work. That is what I have. Cost me about 50$ canadian. All the rest is from the FB and in the video I go through the process of mounting it all together 👍
