GT Goku is the Greatest Dragonball Character !

I think GT are like the prequels, everyone hates them at first but after the horrendous Super and Disney films. We knew GT and the prequels aren’t perfect but they definitely deserves more love and respect.

I've always seen Goku's farewell at the end as him becoming an immortal, like in old Chinese legends. But yes, GT Goku is best Goku.

It's like he became Earth's defense system, a new or second gaurdian that oversees the people and grants wishes to those who are pure and worthy. I really like this ending because at the end of the day he is still that kid from the woods who enjoys fighting and enjoying what the earth has to offer from his adventures.

Super is just a fan service show. GT is legitimately FAR better than anything Super has and a thousand times better written. The only things Super has over GT are the movies and I guess the manga arcs of Super are pretty good.

GT Goku is my second favorite version of Goku because I love Kid Goku, he was such a cute and badass kid. So to have return to being a kid and go SS 1 and 3, it was just so cool to me.

I enjoy your videos but the only thing I would add is that you should watch or reference the Japanese sub because the English dubs are innacurrate and don’t convey what they characters are actually saying and thus gives a wrong interpretation of characters

The End is all the closure I needed everything after the GT stuff is just for mindless dragon ball entertainment because like hell they care about the story.

Super is such shit it made gt good in retrospect. Kinda like how the sequel starwar movies made the prequels better by comparison

A hero is defined as someone who saves others… but one of the main dictionary definitions says it’s someone with noble, courageous, and idealistic qualities. Which kinda just means someone with the qualities that the observer values, courage, and what someone considers the qualities the best of us have…. So, someone might look at Superman (most versions of him) and think of him as their hero because he has the qualities they value. Someone else might view Hitler as their hero. And generally it’s just public opinion that decides who is and isn’t a hero

I agree with you. I like the "canon-version" of Goku (in the original, of course, I hate this new "canon Goku" that they made with Super) very much, Goku is my favorite character of all time after all, but GT is definitely my favorite version. I like that he ressembles his kid version, but keeps the maturity he was already developing in the Cell and Buu arcs. I like the way his VA, Masako Nozawa, speaks when he's in SSJ4, it goes just to show the maturity I said. And as you said, he end the story as a hero. According to Toriyama, he never intended to make Goku a hero, but it's a fact that he did. I know Toei made him even more like this, but even in the original manga he already acted like a hero, (he did selfless acts multiple times, he sacrificed his life for the greater good twice, if that's not a hero I don't know what it is). Anyway, my point is that GT Goku looks even more like a hero, and this makes me like him even more. And going by the same logic, it makes me hate that stupid Super Goku way more as well.
