Had my Prime almost a year now and I am very happy with it. I know what you mean about getting old as I am now in my 60's and retired. Luckily just the one herniated disc in my lumbar region which causes sciatica every now and then which can be really painful. But we can't let a little thing like that stop us sim racing. Take care Karl and look after the back.

So far I've managed to avoid lumbar related sciatica, I do have facet joint syndrome in that area though so not totally pain free down there.... the joys of aging!

Great stuff ,just what I needed to know .Seeing your rig in action has made it clear my way forward is a good profile cockpit and the belt tensioner system .Looking at the Trak Racer and F-GT elite rigs too but this one seems to edge them out when it comes to value ,also a British firm too of course .Hope your back's improved since you made this mate .Not a stranger to back pain myself I've lost 2 inches in height and need Tramadol every night if I want to sleep but pretty manageable nowadays.

Cracking update Karl, especially of interest to me as I’ve had my eye on one of these extrusion rigs since they were released. Great looking profile rig too and I’m sure this will suit my needs with my humble Fanatec set up (also running V3’s and no plans to change any time soon). I’m relatively new to sim racing and well and truly in the proverbial rabbit hole so this rig will be a mahoooosive step up from my Playseat Challenge which has served me well (with the obvious limitations of an entry level and affordable solution). Hope your back starts to improve in time. I’m 56 and now paying the price from years of competitive sport. It is manageable, you just have to be a bit mindful of your chosen activities. I’ll probably give ‘motion’ a miss…. 😂

The GT Omega XL RS and yes it's very comfortable and has no wear bar cat scratches! lol It is very sweaty though being made of PU, I'd much rather a fabric seat.

im about 380 lbs and i have had one for about 8 months its great. i also have the simforge mark1 pedal without the base and i dont feel any flex at all and i got it without seat for 599 i dont know how you can beat it.

I've not got any HE Sprints to confirm but I don't see what not. Even the stock plate is fine, thats what I use on my DD1.

Well keep doing what you're doing mate, honest reviews is what these companies need, to right the wrongs and make the product they pushing better, but they acting like children makes it very hard for me to give them any of my hard earns. But.... Problem is now hearing the way they treated yourself and your channel I want to hear your review even more so now to see if things improved fs 😆 Maybe do a poll see how many people are interested before thinking about dipping hand in the pocket to review another Moza product. I have the Gtomega Prime and recommend paying the extra shipping "insurance/tracking". Not for damage, because it's packed perfectly, but for loss. If lost, they ship replacement without having to prove to them it's lost, or waiting for original shipment return. But they pack the Prime EXTREMELY well so there is very little chance of damaging it in shipping. Unless they use for an unloading ramp for the freight truck. I first purchased the Apex with seat frame and RS9 seat. Then purchased the Prime with XL-RS seat and new pedal tray. ALL without loss or damage in shipping. The Apex is my MSFS2020 cockpit(BoeingYoke,TPR, HC Bravo), and the Prime is my Race Sim cockpit(Fanatec CSLDD, V3 pedals). They share a 55" LG G2 OLED on a GTomega Portable Monitor Stand, that I slide to straddle either cockpit. A 12700k and 4090 run it all.

@@peekabooooooooo Hello Ant, if you are looking for flexibility we also offer Wheel Stands with adjustable height, this means you can pull a chair up and fold out the stand then once done tuck it away nicely! saves on the space when you don't use it just something to consider.

I'm testing the Lite this week but ultimately buy the best you can afford and justify mate, a solid cockpit makes the world of difference!

By the time you add the extras the P1-X comes with, like the adjustable feet and those nice corner pieces, the P1-X is cheaper than the GT Omega rig. Also GT Omega added me to two spam lists when I emailed their support. Thankfully I use a dedicated email for each company I email which is also how I know exactly who sold my email to scammers. The P1-X also has nicer quality machining on the aluminum parts and uses better quality profile.

Not even close mate, the P1 X without a seat is £731 PLUS delivery, the Prime is £522 WITH delivery... thats £200 cheaper and the Prime comes with a shifter mount the P1 X does not! lol
