Zonda C12 S 7.3 (V12), Lexus LFA (V10), RUF 3400 (Flat 6), NSX Type R (V6), Amuse S2000 Street version (4 cyl), Volkswagen Nardo Concept (W12) all with stock exhausts are best!
The main problem with sounds in GT5 is that there are maybe 15 different engine/exhaust sounds total. I have like 10 different cars different makes that has the same sound as the first car in this video.
Yes i bought the fanatec porche wheel, JUST for forza 4, the only thing i hate about it is the lack of a separate button on the shifter for the e brake, makes drifting alot more difficult. The wheel itself is a better wheel for the Xbox 360, but since i am using the G27 Pedals on it, it glitches on GT5 and i just chose to use the G27 on PS3 and PC. The Porche wheel cost $250, Shifter $60 and the pedal adapter $14, it WOULD cost $250 for pedals becasue i aint cheap on this stuff lol. G27=$280.
Fully stock '70 challenger. With a good sound system (DTS 5.1 surround) blasting the volume it actually resembles the real car. Only revving because driving makes it sound weird
yes because forza recorded the exhaust of the cars, GT5 recorded the engines and Kaz tried to clean up the sounds, witch in reality the "dirty" sounds a engine give is the reasons for car guy wet dreams.
Aulazon there was a Time where you could pay some money to get spicers things like the special stage route x.. a few years ago they removed the feature to buy anything.
Forzas handling as a few quirks, i have only tried drifting in FM3 at it is VERY hard to fell the car while drifting, so u hit the point where the car WILL spin or lose to much momentum and you can't fell it coming on as well as GT5 does.
I agree. The feeling in GT5 is unique, but the sounds are like a punch that sits down your excitement. BTW as I said before, 3 shows why it sounds like a vaccum cleaner. Wish Forza had the feeling and graphics of GT5, it would be perfect. Also the engine(not exhaust) recorded files sound so unrealistic compared to exhaust ones.
Possible, but they wouldn't when there's gt6, like in forza 4 they won't bother doing anything to fix it because the new game coming out lol. Sure there might be SOME cars that sound alright I guess, it's just the major flaw with gt5, the sounds. Fingers crossed for their new game they do it like forza and record high detail exhaust and engine sounds :)
They make the same sound because you have the racing exhaust on it... If you want the sounds leave the COMPLETLY standard. For example the LFA, Ford GT, Gallardo.
buddy, i played both, i love both. he way i see it, if you want to have fun play forza. if you want to race play gt5. only reason i don't play forza much is becasue the xbox 360 donesn't work with the G27 wheel, an di don't fell like buying a completely separate wheel for JUST forza.
there are actually 2 different sound in a car. The engine and the exhaust are two different sounds that should be recorded. Not saying gt5 was badly done, but almost.
And anyway this game is not for sound, Its the driving physics, hence the name simulator in the name. Forza, NFS are arcade games (dont get me wrong I love them both) but their for having a bit of fun. but on GT5 if you find the correct people online, on the correct tyres (non of this racing soft crap), and the aids are off, then you can have one hell of a race.
IMO The SL55 Stock is Number 1 ! A couple of those you've recorded I hadn't heard before, enjoyed the Nardo & the Isuzu, not so much the Mazda. Check also XFR '10 on STOCK exaust (or any other Jaguar) as well as the AMG E55 on Stock.
SOME are racing. 5 is race, 4 is semi race, 3 is race, 2 is STOCK. and 1 is STOCK but defaulted to racing. and i think those cars sound the best with those pipes. just opinion.
If these are the best sounds of GT5, let's just hope that the new sounds of GT6, the ones that have been touted as coming in a post-launch update, are ... you know ... actually "good". Don't get me wrong: I STILL play GT5 and enjoy it, but the sounds were left far behind the looks of the Premium cars.
Ok buddy, I understand u want to make an opinion, but please if you must only watch a GT5 car sound video to make a comment based on negatives, then don't comment. I made this for gt5 fans to show that their are good sounding cars in this game. Listen to the 787B, V16t and SL55. 787B is exact, so is the V16t and Stock SL55. Forza 4 over does some of the sounds. GT5 as flaws, but unlike your ignorance they can be patched and improved over time.
