Dude, this is fucking awesome. This is the exact ideas I was having I don’t know why I went on a bender one night too watching all the RU-vid videos of all the superchargers you can put on a damn Ls this is by far the coolest exactly what I had planned😂😂✊✊✊🛠️🛠️🛠️🛠️🛠️🛠️
I actually changed my mind once again and I am going to run the cooler. It will have a separate pump and heat exchanger that it runs fluid through. Keep watching the vids I will be posting more very shortly
Your Intercooler was sooo close to being perfect to begin with. Just make that original oil cooler the new AC evaporator, blow through from the Supercharger and VOILA ! Why let Dodge have all the fun with AC charge cooled Supercharging.
I’m decided I’m going to use it. Water will be my cooling source. I will have a 12v pump and send the water through a heat exchanger mounted up front with fans.
Hey. Thank you for the video. I've looked at idk how many and none show as much as you have. I'm trying to do a 94 z28 lt1 with a supercharger from a 11-12 shelby. So it's the m122. Gonna use my throttle body. Found cables today I believe. Now I kinda see how to do that plate thanks to you. Which intercooler? Plate for in between throttle body and blower? I'll have more questions also if that's ok
@@DanielsDesign Thanks so much. I'm kinda old school n all this stuff is new to me. I'm totally lost on all this blower stuff and how to add it on, parts needed, etc. Found the aluminum online. 50 bucks plus 15 for shipping. So I'll order that today. Ordered my tv cable also. Blower is shipped also. I'll find and order the side strip also to make the box. Or, instead of that way to save space so I can use my stock hood, can I put the intercooler like against my radiator and use a smaller intake? Then, the lines for it go into what? Then theres a air to water pump or something? Some blow off valve etc. See brother. I'm lost as hell. Wish I could add photos on here. I'm gonna do a video on all of it from start to finish with part numbers n etc. This way it's out there for the lt1 guys
@@briansaathoff4038 your physical intercooler has to be below the blower otherwise it won’t cool the air. But you are right with putting an “intercooler” with your radiator but most people tend to call this your heat exchanger. The heat exchanger then cools the water that will be pumped through the intercooler that’s mounted below the intake which cools intake air temperature. Basically you have two intercoolers In a way. Hope this helps you wrap your head around it. As for the height you can definitely get a lower profile intake to save room. The Holley Lo-ram would be a great choice.
@@DanielsDesign ok. I'll make the box part for under the blower, get the intercooler, try to find a intake. It has to be completely open on top of the intake yes?
Wow this is crSo i need some info is there anyway i can contact you?? I'm looking to do this with a holley low ram and fab a plate to bolt to the top of it set the supercharger on.
