for iPhone users there is an app called Race Dash its not as good as this one is but as It donsnt work on iPhones which is a pitty as I like the look of it. thanks for the info Mate all the best for your racing

Cheers Rowdy. Yeah I heard about this one too. I’m actually an iPhone user aswell and I use an emulator to run the app on my pc instead of on a device. Will be making a separate video on this part of it at a later date. Def a handy way to do it for non-android people 👌

Do I need an emulator if I have a Chromebook? It’s buried somewhere but I have a feeling it might be able to run this. I use iPhone and I don’t feel like buying that other app because I already own sim dashboard from a long time ago for my racing sim.

Yes you will need an android emulator to run it on a pc. I think your Chromebook would run it easy. Def better using it on a bigger screen as well. That’s how I do it. I have a video coming soon of how to do this using an emulator if you need more info.

Is there any confirmation of correct optimal tire temps for gt7. The default values in Celsius on SIM dashboard seem way too high.

@@VVGNismo thanks, what are yours set at in the app? The default values on the app for me showed tyre temps having to get to 150 degrees etc which definitely can't be right 🤣

@@Daley87 lol yeah that’s burnout temps. maybe it’s the dash that you’re using and it has weird settings to begin with? On mine 150 is red (on fire 🔥 haha) I use the standard gt outputs as they are correct. The tyres also vary on how they heat and cool depending on compound too. Eg comfort vs racing. You can grab my dash from the community section if you’d like to try it?

@@madsda007 ah yep, no it’s not unless you can run android apps on it with it set to Picture in Picture. I haven’t tried anything like that though. My tv doesn’t support it.

You need to use an emulator to run it on pc to be able to make it a source

@@Rogue_Meister88 With Memu, if you have issues, try installing an older version. I had some kind of issue with an update awhile back and installed 7.0.1 cause it worked before. Could work for you too?
