I have a Mazda LM55 VGT with Mid-RPM Turbo upgrade detuned to 800pp that can no-pit the TC800 race at LeMans very easily. Even at the lowest fuel map and coasting well before a sharp corner (instead of being aggressive on the brakes when you get very close) it passes all AI cars by Lap 2. I increase the fuel map mid-way through the race while remaining efficient, then once I get to the last lap, I go all out and win by around 2min 30sec over the 2nd place car (sometimes overlapping one car) If it's that good in a 6-lap race at LeMans, should be an easy 1-pit car on Sardegna (maybe even a no-pit, if you're efficient enough). Grips well even on Hard Race Tires and set to the minimal downforce settings, plus it's lightweight making it very good on the tires. Even though you have to de-tune this car's power heavily and toss on some ballast to get just below 800pp, if you tweak the gearing well enough you still have enough acceleration to pass cars with relative ease even on the leanest fuel map.
I just started grinding Sardegna after doing +40 Le Mans runs since i got my PS5 and GT7 in May. First car i used was the Suzuki Escudo wich i found to be really good on several WTC800 races. I also used my Porsche 962 detuned to 799.89PP and that car is a dream to drive, to bad im more of a nightmare than a dream when it comes to driving. Really like your content and i will try the cars you suggested to switch things up. 🎉
Thanks for the video. Had the F1500t/a sitting in the garage as freebie and no idea what to use it for. Did Sardegna no trouble and also did Autopolis WTC900 event. Handles superbly. So again thanx for your work.
Thank you! :D I use to do this race using different Gr. 3 cars but I haven't tried yet with the ones you show in the video... The 787B must be a beast on this track!
I’ve been using the Audi DTM group 2 car, for some reason it has a low pp in comparison to a lot of the other group 2 cars so can be run with medium race tyres and a minor power reduction down to 97 percent to reach the 800pp requirement. If ran lean it can get around with just one pit stop and still be miles ahead of the rest even on normal difficulty.
My go-to is the Group 2 Audi RS 5, super good handling and great fuel efficiency. You need only one pit stop with no tire change (on hard tires). Also, it's in brand central so no need to wait...
I was gonna say, the 787B is a hack its so good for this, you can go the whole race with no pit stop even on Mediums. Also love the fact that you can run without any race or car info on the screen because it shows fuel levels for a more realistic feeling experience. I found that if you use the cars engine adjustment instead of power restrictor you can have more Horsepower and still get it just below 800P. My favorite car, just rev it out and send it!!!
The NSX is a fantastic car and one of my favorites for grinding this track. Just a few seconds slower than the 3.5 million Toyota hybrid gr 1 car at 800pp
I found the same thing! And the loss of a little time per lap is made up for by how nice it drives. You don’t have to worry as much about a mistake taking you out.
I beat easily all the 800 races at hard difficulty with the BMW McLaren F1 GTR Race Car '97 with an specific setup who got 799,5 PP at medium(competition) tyres. I found it even easier that Madza 787B if anyone want to give it a try. The bad thing is that the car is expensive in the historic cars but worth the prize.
I ran it at Spa and had to detune it down to 258HP. It wouldn’t need to pit if it wasn’t for the rain. I ended up 1:38 ahead of 2nd. I was using a manual transmission that was NOT geared right. It could barely pull in 5th gear. Never saw 6th or 7th. I definitely had it set up wrong, but it was still fun! 😅
Good video, but the R32 at the start made me audibly say "what the f---" haha. But ya I agree, the 787B is my favorite to use, mainly bc its a one-pit on full power fuel consumption (level 1). Which is epic. Also the noise is absolutely incredible
😂 Yeah. The R32 is more of a shout out, because we all have it when the race becomes available, and it can get the job done. It may have been better suited for the honorable mention. Thanks for watching!
It's great, but it is absolutely not the best in terms of time to complete the race. You have to pit at least twice with it no matter what fuel consumption you use. The 787B and R92CP are both significantly better. So is the McLaren F1 GTR, the new Toyota GTOne, and others. Remember, pitting slows you down a LOT.
@@Shmuel420 I’ve used a ton of different cars I’ve used McLarens but what where the 787b you where talking about and the one with the R in it right next to the 787 you told me about what make are those? I’ve used a lot and I use the living legend just cause I put the least with it. I actually lap almost ever car with that one so what ones are you telling me about? Thanks for the info btw
@@neo6280 lots of them are legend cars broski. There is the Mazda 787B from 1991, the Nissan R92CP from 1992, the Toyota GTOne from 1999, and many others you could use. The McLaren F1 GTR I have is the 1997 one, but there is also a 1995 one in the game. These are some of the cars I like that you can corner quicker than the Porsche and pit less, therefore making it making it a faster race. Problem is they can get extremely expensive lmfao, and you gotta wait for them to show up in the Legends Dealership
