GTA 3 Rage wins. Any remaster of the trilogy with Rage can beat the Definitive Edition. This one, which already has ragdoll physics and swimming, just needs more skins, sound effects and atmosphere of GTA 3 and it will be perfect.

Also needed to fix some rendering issue like one of objects like the one you saw that he tried to jump out of the car while hitting the ramp but instead both the car and him went through it which is the hitbox not yet created for that said object

Can't really call it a win when you're using a different GTA from the HD universe. GTA III assets that are directly ripped ported into this game to look absolutely horrible the vice city mods are better.

The explanation for why Claude or Tommy die in the water is because 1 as you can see there were only plans to use boats and 2 in their areas the water is somehow extremely toxic... But somehow in Los Santos the waters fine

Well you talk moves with gta vc cuz gta 3 in liberty city (and gta 4 in the same city and for some reason the main character in gta 4 can swim) so that means the water is fine in liberty city or we can say gta 4 water is fine but maybe in gta 3its not cuz it was older than gta 4 time and yeah we still can say maybe

Guys u can't blame the defenitive for the features because the def edition was a remaster not a rework so it had all the things the original game had like not being able to swim.

i would say Definitive Edition is better.. Cuz Rage Just feel like GTA 4.. We Cant Get The Experience Of The GTA 3( Which we get on GTA 3 Definitive Edition)

The physics for gta 3 rage are awesome because the gta 3 rage physics are the same exact physics as the gta 4 physics.

This is what you could have done, Rockstar. This is the definitive edition that you could have given us instead, rather than the cheap and soulless cash grab that we got on release. But no, all you cared about was filling your pockets and spending as little effort as possible to give the fans what they truly wanted. You make me sad, Rockstar. Sad that you became the very greedy corporate industry that you've made fun of in past GTA titles.

Rockstar Games didn't made the remaster, it was grove street games and they don't know how to work with the Rage engine the reason unreal engine was used

As for me, the Definitive Edition is better, since the essence was to make a remaster, not a remake. Moreover, unlike the "Rage" modification, the Definitive Edition has all the missions. Rage is also not bad, but FOR ME (my opinion) Definitive Edition is better :)

For "Rage" you need GTA 4, For Definitive edition we don't need GTA 4

the game is literally a remake, just a half ass3d one that didnt even bother to add ragdoll physics (EVEN A SINGLE MODDER AT HIS HOME MADE A PERFECTLY WORKING RAGDOLL MOD FOR GTA SA YEARS AGO...). It's just a d1sgrace, if you gave a modder team all the money gr0ve st. games received for making the tr1logy, for making it in the IV engine, they'd have made it (and the proof is public a modder team has remade the entire vice city campaign at IV engine).
