Excellent. Being a Native New Yorker, I loved how both games captured the essence of NYC. Rockstar at one point was based in NYC, so it only made sense that they'd draw from there immediately surroundings. Their offices were south of Herald Square if my memory serves me correctly
It's cool! Can I ask a question? People say New York is dark much as GTA IV, but when I look at the videos of there it doesn't looks like. Is GTA IV's atmosphere realistic or just too dark?
@@DarthErdoğan realistic of when the game was made which was 2007/2008. Some of the pictures are doctored up, but what real estate developers don't get is that there was a beauty to the city's grime
In GTA V they keeped Grove Street of San Andreas. In GTA VI they'll keep Ocean Views of Vice City But in GTA IV they didn't keep anything from GTA III 😢
I wish they kept emblematic places like Malibu club, cine studio, the golf club and Diaz/tommy's mansion. I mean not the exact same mansion but the same zone design like grove street in GTA V.
It's not a remaster dude it's just a definitive edition I don't know why people don't understand, do you know what is a remaster Mafia 1 remake is a remaster that is what we called a remaster
No like Rockstar used New York as a base for GTA3's Liberty while the city itself is like a mixture of North Jersey cities, Baltimore and among others just like Rockport(the setting of Need For Speed Most Wanted '05) takes inspiration from NYC for the Downtown area, New England-ish style towns for the residential area and Camden for the Industrial area(the borough is even named Camden Industrial)
GTA four is way better than GTA three because it have more realistic graphics and it’s in New York. The only thing that GTA 3 has is Brooklyn not New York City just like in GTA4
complete time of waste video! first he need to change the in-game time to morning for places that has not so special visuals during night time and secondly, he should have tried to capture the most similarity among the both games but no, he's just walking of places with same name and didn't tried to make us feel that how things looks after they evolved by time...!!!
Liberty City shape in HD resembles 3D:- 1) Portland resembles Broker, Dukes, Bohan. 2) Staunton Island resembles Algonquin. 3) Shoreside Vale resembles Alderney.
I love liberty city so much. I like it because it forces the devs to make a walkable city that is still fun to drive on, which means that the devs had to become more intentional with their map design and also it means we get loads of different alternative transportation methods. Also the small map size means much more detail on the actual map and interiors. And that is probably why GTA IV has better interiors than GTA V.
Nice video. GTA 4 LC has more of a small town/cosy feel to it albeit being much bigger and more detailed than GTA 3 which, to me, captures the NYC atmosphere better somehow.
I see what you mean regarding the vibe of GTA III. It looks like a part of NYC you never knew existed. Which says a lot for me being from NYC and in my 50s
@@JJ-ev9uzdude is a fool that just lets you know how good gta 3 was & is still lol I have it on mobile & I enjoy whenever I have the chance whenever I'm not tired from work lol gta 3 is so much fun to play with

Funny cause 3 doesn't actually follow 4 . Crazy how all the gta since 3 I'm sure other to but for me I've been playing since 3 . Missed the dlc on 4 to be a Spanish guy? And some of the psp ones 😭
The irony is the DeFinitive Edition of the Grand Theft Auto 3 rendition of Liberty City has more realistic graphics than the Grand Theft Auto 4 rendition of Liberty City!
