There is a total of 3 cults in the game right? One for each character. Trevors is the altruists cult, Michaels is the epsilon cult and Franklins is the children of the mountain cult. What if, in game, you complete all 3 cults, get 100% and visit mount chiliad with all 3 characters, will the all seeing eye thing be complete? Someone should try that!
Am i the only one that can't take GTA 5 myths seriously? I mean,after about 4 years of gta san andreas myths,it looks like we hit the dry wall. Don't get me wrong,tough these myths are much more simplistic and less original,they are still fairly creepy and pretty intresting.But,i see myself saying "Ummmm.....Yeah....Right..."more than saying "WOW,REALLY?".
I believe that the figure is not a jetpack, but a hitchhiker. It would make sense considering you can give them as "sacrifices" or something. Also, since maybe they kill the hitchhikers, the skull in that little cave could symbolize death. Maybe they want to kill people from the new generation since they hate it so much? The figure even looks like it has a backpack and holding up its arm to signal a car.
Dark, there's a random event that when you deliver them the 4th stranger, they are going to take you as hostage as well, Trevor finds a AK-47 inside of it and starts killing everyone and then it will show "Altruist Cult cleared" or something like that and there will never be anyone in there again, it's 100% proven as i did it myself in many save games i had.
Yeah, that is it. It's highly subjective though. They say on their site that those born after 1974 are not of their ilk. However, the baby boomer generation is generally considered to have ended around the climax of the Vietnam War, around 1968-69. I find it interesting that the Altruists make no mention of the members of the generation born during the Interbellum (1918-39), who are often considered to be the best or "Greatest" generation. The sun worship is interesting. The only timeless object I can think of is the sun. It is one of Earth's only natural phenomena that is rendered unchangeable according to human perception. Perhaps this is of some relation?
The character "Rudy Brewer" (I believe this is the correct name) from Max Payne 3 has some similarities to the Altruists. He appears very briefly and has a minimal role in the story. He was obviously a Vietnam veteran. This places his birth at around 1946/47 and 1950. This was slightly before the Baby Boomer generation, but not too far off. Likewise, he appears with minimal clothing, speaks in a eccentric manner, and his apartment is filled with wall art and graffiti. Could you do a bit of research on this? I believe it is somewhat relevant. This guy's room is very insignificant to the plot, however, it has some references to the Illuminati and Freemasons, as well as a bunch of illegible writing. Max Payne 3 is not in the same universe as GTA, but it is a Rockstar game and could be connected. I made these connections when watching your video (:
I'm afraid you won't find many sources. These are my own personal theories. I do a lot of work pertaining to history, language, and the arts, so I am able to analyse confusing topics very easily. I use qualitative observation. It is very much akin to breaking down a book, it's motifs, theses. I find something that is unusual and out of place, and determine why it exists, and if the origin of it relates to someone or something has referenced it before. Rockstar, as you may know, is very satirical. It has not been the first time they have referenced American Neo-imperialism. Using all of these clues, I can also assume that the location of the Altruist encampment, and the position it faces towards the sun, indicates some form of circle. Judging by the sites of writing and cave art, it may be an accurate assumption. In regards to Max Payne 3, I just simply gathered similarities between themes and characters. Why does such a minor character/cult/organisation exist in a game that has little to do with them? This leads to varying measures of predictability.
Hey Dark, I just wanted to say something, I find your videos entertaining but, I think if you don't use the music, it'll be better because I think it's better to just hear the gameplay so we can hear everything in game. Just an advice. Thanks for the awesome videos!
I know I might make no sense but probably all the base ball bat locations in gta 5 could be laying on a symbol just like the jet pack symbol with the bat up the top of the symbol so if all the Baseball bats in the game could be laying on a symbol pick up all the bats could it mean u completed some part of the mystery ?
Honestly most of these myths are Easter eggs but the jet pack has no actual file in the game because since it's on PC people can just cheat it. So there's the 50/50 shot it will eventually be included
Another thing, this cult and it's area kinda remind me of the movie "The Village" except maybe the cannibalism and praise the sun part. And neat the beginning of the video, that one cult member that was threatening you Dark and when you said "chill man" or whatever it was, when you walked away I heard him say "I'll chew your face off boy!" So that may be more evidence towards the cannibal aspect, even though the myth was confirmed. DarkMythHunter

I discovered this place on the PS3 version. They shoot the player on sight, some of them would appear completely nude, and if you shoot the guy standing by the cliff from the tower with a sniper, another NPC would instantly respawn.

Question for the video: "Symbols of the sun. [Red and Yellow]" "Yellow flowers." Is there a location whereby the red and yellow sun appears surrounded by only yellow flowers? Or since they worship the sun (which can be mistaken as a bright red / yellow light), what could be the real deal? A real sun or a light that is similar to the sun?

The "boom likely" refers to the baby boomer generation. So I think I do agree with the reborn idea but it could also just mean they'll be dominant over others
